Judy Finnigan showcased her svelte figure as she stepped out in the London sunshine on Thursday.

As a die-hard admirer, let me express how utterly breathtaking the 76-year-old TV icon appeared when she confidently showcased her stunning transformation in a pair of chic, navy leaf-patterned, wide-legged trousers.

She teamed the summery look with a knitted sweater, with a fluffy coat draped over her shoulders.

Judy adorned a chic set of tortoiseshell shades and draped a long, silvery necklace around her neck, letting her long, wavy blonde hair cascade down freely.

The star appeared alongside her spouse Richard Madeley, whom she’s been wedded to since 1986, following their rise to fame as co-hosts of the legendary Richard & Judy program, which made them a well-known duo in many households.

And as temperatures heated up, the couple were seen heading out for the day in north London. 

The pair went for a drive in their VW Beetle convertible before stopping off to grabs some lunch.

Instead, Richard chose a timeless white T-shirt and a fitted denim jeans, complemented by a navy outer shirt. He completed the look with a pair of laced-up brown boots.

2018 saw Judy making news for shedding approximately five stones in weight, but surprisingly, her daughter Chloe Madeley shared with TopMob that Judy hadn’t intentionally been trying to slim down; instead, the weight loss occurred quite organically for her.

At that point, Chloe remarked: “As she’s growing older, her taste preferences are shifting. I believe she’s always been more inclined towards simple, hearty meals.

Although Judy has mostly taken a step back from public attention, Richard is consistently seen on the morning show, This Morning.

Now, after years apart professionally, the duo hints at an exciting new project together.

It’s possible that the dynamic pair could introduce their very own brand of undergarments, as they have already registered their name to market various items such as perfumes, makeup, and many other products.

This week, the Intellectual Property Office published the application.

In 2000, the pair first registered the trademark named ‘Richard and Judy.’ They recently extended this registration, opening up opportunities for their newest entrepreneurial venture at the end of last year.

This daring action could potentially be a result of Judy’s memorable wardrobe malfunction during the 2000 National Television Awards, when she unintentionally exposed her bra.

According to a source, who spoke with The Mirror, one notable event in Judy’s career might have been her exposed bra moment, potentially sparking the idea of undergarments for the couple. It appears this concept is still appealing to them.

‘But it’s not the only product they’ll be able to put their name on and they could make a mint.’ 

Representatives for Richard and Judy have been contacted by TopMob for comment.

They initially crossed paths in the 80s during their time together at ITV Granada Television. Later, they exchanged wedding vows in 1986.

In their Channel 5 documentary titled “Our Best Bits – In Our Own Words,” which was broadcasted during the summer, Richard and Judy shared thoughts about their relationship.

They spoke about the first time they met at Granada and the initial chemistry between them.

During that period, Judy was married to journalist David Henshaw, whereas Richard was going through a divorce with his first wife, Lynda.

Judy mentioned: “On your initial day at the newsroom, you walked in with an over-the-top sky blue suit… You seemed rather out of place.

In Grenada, they had a custom where the newcomers were given a guide or mentor. And I happened to be your designated mentor or ‘mother figure’, helping you navigate through things.

Reflecting back, Richard stated: “Suddenly, I felt a pair of hands on the back of my neck, and a voice whispered, ‘I’m your mommy,’ into my ear. When I turned around, there stood a stunning blonde woman.

‘It seemed an off thing to say so I was like ”what??” So yeah she was my assigned mummy.’
