Judy Finnigan Stuns at 77 in Rare Birthday Snaps with Richard Madeley and Family Celebration

Judy Finnigan looked incredible as she celebrated her 77th birthday with family over the weekend. 

The celebrations were captured by Chloe Madeley, aged 37, who posted several uncommon photos of her mom, who has stepped back from the limelight in more recent times, on various occasions.

For the special event, Judy chose an eye-catching £126 floral gown from Boden, highlighting her recent weight loss.

On her special day, she received balloons, blossoms, and a cake, as the family reveled together while basking in the sun’s warmth outside in the yard, marking the occasion with joy and festivity.

Chloe titled her post: ‘Rose wine shared with your cherished loved ones ☀️ Wishing a very happy birthday to my most beloved person on earth.’

The party lasted for two days instead, and afterward, Judy was spotted wearing a flowing black blouse and pants, savoring yet another beautiful day out in the garden.

This occasion, Chloe’s two-year-old child Bodhi, whom she co-parents with James Haskell, accompanied her with a stuffed toy rabbit. Richard, Judy, and their son Jack obligingly had their pictures taken while wearing the toy bunny on their heads.

After that, the team set off for a leisurely walk, where Chloe snapped a photo as Bodhi recognized his grandparents on a poster promoting Richard and Judy’s literature circle.

This year, it emerged that the duo, Richard and Judy, who haven’t worked together for quite some time, are planning a significant return to the scene.

Although Judy tends to avoid the limelight, Richard continues to be a frequent presence on the morning show, This Morning.

Now, after years apart professionally, the duo hints at an exciting new project together.

The dynamic pair could be releasing their own brand of undergarments shortly, as they’ve already registered their name for numerous product lines, such as perfumes, makeup, and additional items.

This week, the Intellectual Property Office published the application.

In 2000, I was part of a dynamic duo that secured a unique brand name, ‘Richard and Judy.’ Last year, we took the necessary steps to renew this trademark, opening up new opportunities for our latest venture.

This daring decision could potentially be traced back to Judy’s well-known wardrobe incident at the 2000 National Television Awards, during which she inadvertently exposed her bra.

According to a source, as reported by The Mirror, Judy’s exposed bra moment might have been one of the most memorable events in their career, potentially sparking the idea for underwear ventures in the couple. It appears they still hold this notion today.

‘But it’s not the only product they’ll be able to put their name on and they could make a mint.’

They initially crossed paths during the Eighties, both employed at ITV Granada Television. Later in 1986, they decided to formalize their relationship by getting married.

In the Channel 5 documentary titled “Our Best Bits – In Our Own Words,” which was broadcast during the summer, Richard and Judy took some time to discuss their relationship and share their thoughts with viewers.

They spoke about the first time they met at Granada and the initial chemistry between them.

When Judy got married to journalist David Henshaw, Richard was going through a divorce with his first spouse, Lynda.

Judy commented: “On your very first day at the newsroom, I recall you walking in with an eye-catching sky blue suit that seemed quite unusual… it gave off a rather unconventional impression.

In Grenada, there was a tradition where a newcomer would be given a mentor, someone to guide them through things. And in this instance, they chose me to play that role, acting as your ‘mother figure’ so to speak.

Reflecting, Richard shared: ‘Suddenly, I felt a pair of hands on the back of my neck, and I heard a voice whisper, “I’m your mommy.” As I turned, there stood a stunning blonde.’

‘It seemed an off thing to say so I was like ”what??” So yeah she was my assigned mummy.’

Recently, Judy has been enjoying a new lease of life after losing five stone in 2018. 

In the spotlight for her latest appearance, Chloe shared with TopMob that her mom didn’t intentionally aim to shed pounds; instead, the transformation occurred quite organically.

At that moment, Chloe remarked: “As she’s growing older, her taste preferences are shifting, and I believe she’s always been more of a classic, hearty meals type.

I didn’t have any involvement in it. In fact, I was just as puzzled as anyone else when I discovered superfood salads and soups inside our fridge upon arriving home over the weekend. I wondered, ‘What’s going on here?’

She commented: “I must note that her current diet is truly fantastic. Her taste preferences have indeed evolved. Now she enjoys sushi, raw fish, and whole grain salads. She’s shed those extra pounds in a natural way.
