As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I must say Jude Law’s suave appearance and captivating performance at the Zurich Film Festival screening of The Order left quite an impression on me. His ability to embody the character of Terry Husk, a washed-up FBI agent, with such conviction is truly commendable.
As I graced the red carpet at the premiere of my latest crime thriller, “The Order,” during the opening night of the Zurich Film Festival on Thursday, I couldn’t help but feel like a sharp and stylish gentleman.
In a smart, navy double-breasted suit, the 51-year-old actor, known for his role as the decommissioned FBI agent Terry Husk in the film, aimed to make an impact with his attire.
Jude paired his striped attire with a white scarf, which he inserted within his collar, along with polished, chocolate-hued dress shoes.
With a self-assured air, he sauntered down the verdant red carpet during twilight, eventually making his way onto the stage to present the movie to the eager crowd.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement! That mind-blowing thriller I’ve been eagerly waiting for had its grand debut at the prestigious Venice Film Festival last August, and here’s the best part – it’s finally coming to Prime Video! Can’t wait to stream it!

At the Festival, Jude’s portrayal as the agent confronting the actual white supremacist group The Order was met with a prolonged seven-minute applause.
He said of his character: ‘There was a sort of lived-in quality to him that I enjoyed.
In my conversations, the topic frequently turned to facial hair. Interestingly, each agent I spoke with sported a mustache. As a result, I found myself in a situation where growing one seemed inevitable.
Also starring are Alison Oliver, Tye Sheridan, Jurnee Smollett, and Nicholas Hoult.
In a role, Nicholas portrays Bob Mathews, a prominent leader of The Order – a white supremacist organization active in 1983, who was known to be an American neo-Nazi.
Nicholas shared that Justin Kurzel, the film’s director, provided each actor with a character-specific ‘guidebook,’ which included assignments they were expected to carry out.
‘I just found out on the boat here – one of Jude’s tasks was to follow me for a day!’ he said.
‘He was trailing me for a day when I landed in Calgary.’

The Order is based on the 1989 biography The Silent Brotherhood by Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt.
It was written by Zach Baylin and distributed by Prime Video (though Amazon MGM Studios).
Initially, Vertical obtained some rights for a movie that’s available on Amazon Prime Video. They plan to debut this film in a select number of cinemas on December 6, 2024.
During a press conference at the Venice Film Festival hosted by The Order, Jude emphasized the significance of the movie as right-wing ideologies experience a resurgence in today’s world.
He remarked, “Unfortunately, its significance is clear on its own.” He explained, “It seemed crucial to produce it at this moment. It’s intriguing to discover a work from the past that carries some contemporary relevance.
Director Justin concurred with Law’s viewpoint, stating that it was the movie’s similarities with our current world that made it intriguing and compelling to produce.
Finding a historical text or occurrence that resonates with current political discourse is quite exceptional and valuable, like discovering a precious stone. It seems as if the insights from the past are still relevant to our ongoing discussions today.
