At the WellChild Awards on Monday, Joss Stone reconnected with her old friend Prince Harry – a friendship that had been put on hold for three years since she openly shared they had fallen out of contact.
This week, the Duke of Sussex made a visit back to the United Kingdom, prompting speculation as to whether he intended to meet with his father, King Charles III, and his brother, Prince William, during his stay.
Adorned in a breathtaking black lace dress, Joss stood for photographs with numerous other celebrities at the award ceremony.
38-year-old vocalist has enjoyed a close friendship with Harry since meeting him at a Prince’s Trust fundraising gathering in 2005. Over the years, they have been actively engaged with his charity, Sentebale, though he recently decided to step away from its activities this year.
As I stepped into The Royal Lancaster Hotel, adorned in an exquisite black gown, I couldn’t help but feel a thrill of excitement. By my side were none other than the legendary Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones and his wonderful partner, Sally. What an unforgettable evening this was turning out to be!
The artist, who gained popularity following the release of her 2003 album “The Soul Sessions,” expressed hope in 2022 that she might reunite with Prince Harry someday, as she regretted their communication had faded away.

She shared with Daily Mail’s Richard Eden that she traveled to Lesotho for Harry’s charity event. She found it captivating and became fully immersed in it. She expresses her hope that they will cross paths again someday.
Sally looked striking and fashionable in a modern, sunny yellow flowered gown while standing alongside her husband of thirteen years, Ronnie, at the awards event.
In May 2018, Joss was present at the wedding ceremony of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a grand event that took place at Windsor Castle with approximately 800 attendees, where the couple exchanged their vows.
In my role as a lifestyle expert, I recently took a solo flight across the Atlantic and landed at London’s Heathrow Airport on Monday.
Harry’s upcoming visit to the United Kingdom, spanning over four days with official duties, marks his lengthiest stay there since his and Meghan’s trip in 2022, following Queen Elizabeth II’s demise.
The Duke’s recent visit to the United Kingdom was in April, following which he failed in his court case concerning the amount of government-provided security he receives when he’s in Britain. This situation arose after him and Meghan ended their roles as working royals and relocated to California in 2020.
In my fervent dedication, I, an ardent fan, was appealing a verdict that had discarded my case regarding the degree of protection I receive in the UK. However, Honorable Judge Sir Geoffrey Vos, in his wisdom, has determined that my ‘feeling of injustice’ does not transform into a sound legal argument.
As a passionate royal enthusiast, I can’t help but wonder if the King, currently ensconced in the tranquil beauty of his Scottish retreat at Birkhall, might consider an historic encounter with his much-missed son, whom we haven’t seen together for 19 long months. Alas, the enigmatic walls of Buckingham Palace remain as silent as ever on this intriguing matter.

Lately, it seems like there are indications that the strained connection might be mending, and perhaps a reconciliation isn’t far off.
In February 2024, Harry had his latest encounter with his dad, as he traveled to the United Kingdom upon hearing that Charles received a cancer diagnosis, which had been made public.
During Prince William’s brother Harry’s visit, it appears that Prince William has scheduled official commitments every day, which suggests a more distanced approach to rekindling their relationship.
Earlier images showed Harry stepping off at the Los Angeles International Airport in California, dressed casually in a black polo shirt and sporting sunglasses. Upon his arrival in London, he exited Heathrow Airport in a luxurious Range Rover.
Later on, the duke was escorted to Windsor Castle, where he made a personal visit to honor Queen Elizabeth II at her last resting spot within St George’s Chapel.
She was interred within the King George VI Memorial Chapel, a modest extension adjacent to the primary chapel. Here, she was laid to rest beside her spouse, her parents, and her sibling.
Later on, Harry made his way to the WellChild Awards held in London, an organization that offers aid to children dealing with terminal or severe diseases as well as their families.
For the past 17 years, he has continued to serve as its benefactor, even following his retirement from active royal duties. Now, he is set to bestow an honorary recognition.
On Tuesday, he plans to drop by the Community Recording Studio located in Nottingham. His group has indicated that during this visit, he intends to declare a generous contribution to the charity Children in Need. This donation is aimed at assisting their efforts to combat the issue of violence among young people.

On Wednesdays and Thursdays, Harry will be busy attending events associated with various charitable organizations he’s a part of, such as the Invictus Games and the Diana Award.
The monarch will spend the majority of the summer at his estate in Scotland’s highlands, known as Balmoral. However, he plans to be in the city during the middle of the week for his cancer treatments.
At present, no set time has been designated for a meeting with Charles. Nevertheless, as per reports from The Mail on Sunday, if an invitation to meet is received, Harry is ready and willing to rearrange his schedule to be present.
According to a source, a gathering with Charles isn’t completely out of question. However, only Clive Alderton [the King’s private secretary], Charles, and Harry have any knowledge about such a meeting if it were to happen.
As for any plans I might have, I’m holding them exceptionally tight, like a guarded secret. However, I can assure you that visiting my father is definitely on my mind and near the heart of my intentions.
‘If it’s on Wednesday, then he would make it work.’
