Josie Gibson has said that she’s ‘struggling and stressed’ juggling being a working single mum.

The 41-year-old TV personality, who shares a seven-year-old son named Reggie with her ex-partner, has playfully suggested she’s not a great role model for mothers, admitting she sometimes struggles.

Josie explained she’s not currently seeking a permanent, full-time role on This Morning, despite appearing as a guest and host, because she wants to prioritize raising her children.

She told Ok! Magazine: ‘Mums don’t look up to me. I’m juggling, I’m struggling, I’m stressed.

I’m just a regular mom, trying to balance everything like everyone else. It’s all about figuring things out as I go, and doing my best to keep everything on track.

She explained her decision to remain on This Morning part-time by saying she only has one chance to be a mother, and you can’t relive those precious moments.

I really need to be in this area. I love the West Country – it’s where I grew up. I feel most like myself there, and I think I can really thrive there.

Josie has baffled neighbours about why she has stayed put, despite her lucrative TV career. 

The actress and her son, Reggie, moved into a caravan last year because her house is undergoing major renovations.

Sources close to Josie, known from the reality show Big Brother, say she’s content with a quiet life and is even open to living in a caravan long-term, but she is hoping to find a partner.

According to a source, Josie is eager to find a good partner, build a stable home, and provide a secure upbringing for her son.
