Over the weekend, speculations about a potential new relationship involving Joshua Jackson ignited as he was observed showing affection towards actress Simone Ashley.
On Saturday, the 47-year-old actor from Dawson’s Creek was spotted walking alongside the 30-year-old actress from Bridgerton in New York City.
Two years post his divorce from Jodie Turner-Smith, Jackson and Ashley found themselves spending quality time together, sharing a bond that also included his five-year-old daughter Juno.
Lately, Ashley has ended a relationship, which she disclosed in February of the current year, stating that her partnership with Constantin Klein had concluded after almost three years.
The encounter between her and Jackson was notably interesting, given that it seems to be their first public appearance as a pair.
During Jackson’s recent reunion with his former co-star from Dawson’s Creek, Katie Holmes, they both spent some time together. Lately, they have been seen shooting scenes for their upcoming movie, “Happy Hours,” in New York City.
Instead of dressing formally for his outing with Ashley, the actor from Fringe chose a very casual style, sporting a simple white t-shirt and comfortable gray trousers. He completed this look with stylish dark green Nike sneakers featuring bright orange highlights.

Despite both Ashley and Jackson frequently flashing broad smiles throughout their journey, they didn’t engage in any public displays of affection (PDA).
The actress gained notability for portraying Lady Kate, an Indian immigrant who later becomes Viscountess Bridgerton in a historical romance series set in England.
The English-born actress, raised by Tamil parents from India, is additionally recognized for her role in the Netflix show “Sex Education.
In her acting career, she has previously taken on supporting roles in shows like Broadchurch and The Sister. However, more recently, Ashley has been making a name for herself as a sought-after lead actress in films.

In December 2019, it became known that the couple had secretly gotten married during their swift romance, avoiding the public eye.

In a bold cinematic venture, the duo will be featured in a three-part film series called “Happy Hours.” As reported by Deadline, these films portray their characters grappling with maintaining relationships amidst career and family pressures, as well as the pursuit of love, all while navigating life’s unavoidable hurdles.
The movies will also features Weeds star Mary-Louise Parker and Hustlers actress Constance Wu.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but be on cloud nine knowing that Katie is steering the ship for the initial movie in this epic trilogy. Yet, my heart skips a beat wondering if she’ll continue her magic touch for the following two chapters of our beloved series.
In 1998-1999, the actress (who portrayed Joey) and her co-star Joshua (known as Pacey on Dawson’s Creek) were in a romantic relationship, which began around the same time the series first aired.
