Joshua Jackson on cozy date with blonde bombshell actress after halting divorce trial with Jodie Turner-Smith

Joshua Jackson seemed cheerful and relaxed as he enjoyed a lunch date with actress Elizabeth Gilpin in Los Angeles on Monday, shortly after temporarily halting the proceedings in his divorce from Jodie Turner-Smith.

Actors Joshua Jackson, 47, and Jodie Turner-Smith, 39, ended their four-year marriage in 2023. The couple share a five-year-old daughter named Juno.

But new court filings suggest things between the exes may be cooling down.

Turner-Smith’s lawyers requested that the court postpone the trial originally set for October 15th, stating that she and Jackson are currently working to reach an agreement regarding custody of their children.

The document also stated that if they disagree on anything, they’ll go back to the private judge they chose to help them reach a resolution.

On Monday, Joshua seemed to have put any divorce-related stress aside, appearing happy and relaxed as he spent time with Gilpin, 36, during a sunny outing in Calabasas.

Wearing a simple white t-shirt and jeans, Jackson talked enthusiastically while the two of them walked together.

Oh my gosh, you guys, did you SEE Aubrey Gilpin?! Seriously, she just gets me. After killing it in all those amazing indie movies, she wrote that incredible book, ‘Stolen,’ which I’ve read like, five times. But yesterday? Forget about it! She was totally rocking this super cute cutoff top and ripped jeans, and honestly, she looked absolutely incredible. I mean, her figure is just…goals. I can’t stop thinking about it!

Jackson’s playful interactions with someone new immediately led people to wonder if he’s already found a new romance and is doing well.

Jackson and Gilpin haven’t spoken publicly about their relationship, and their representatives haven’t responded to requests for comment from the Daily Mail.

I’ve been following Riley Keough for a while now, ever since I saw her in things like ‘Endings, Inc.’ and ‘Guerra’ – she was always amazing, even back then! But honestly, it was her memoir, ‘Stolen,’ that really got everyone talking. It’s such a powerful, heartbreaking story about what she went through at boarding school, and it’s the reason she became so well-known, at least for me. It’s a must-read, and it completely changed how I saw her – it’s just… incredible.

The book explores how she ended up in the care of programs for struggling teenagers—facilities often promoted to parents as strict but helpful places to correct behavioral issues.

As someone who follows trends in youth culture and wellness, I’ve been really concerned about what’s been coming to light regarding certain boarding schools and therapeutic programs. What was once presented as a way to help troubled teens is now being revealed as potentially harmful. As Gilpin uncovered, and Paris Hilton bravely shared in her documentary This Is Paris, many of these places weren’t about healing at all – they were actually subjecting young people to cruel, degrading, and even abusive conditions. It’s a really important conversation we need to be having.

Jackson was seen with Gilpin almost two years after Turner-Smith filed for divorce in October 2023, stating they had irreconcilable differences.

The actress requested joint custody of their daughter, with neither party seeking spousal support.

Sources say they were almost settled on a custody plan in May, but disagreements about Juno’s school and how much time she’d spend traveling with her mother caused the deal to fall apart.

In legal documents, Jackson previously stated they believe it’s not in Juno’s best interest to be away for the length of time proposed without meeting with either parent, unless doing so would cause significant hardship for Juno.

He added, ‘Juno needs both of us.’

In a letter within the submitted documents, Jackson expressed concern about Turner-Smith’s upcoming trip to Morocco. However, Turner-Smith stated that their child was enthusiastic about the travel plans and believed the time away would be beneficial for her sense of stability.

Joshua and his British model partner began dating in 2018. They quietly got married in 2019 and then had their daughter, Juno, in 2020.

According to People magazine, Jonathan Van Ness filed for divorce in October 2023, stating that they had separated the previous month.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ in May, Jackson is ordered to pay $2,787 per month for child support, but he won’t be providing ongoing monthly support to his spouse.

I’ve been following this case closely, and it seems Nikesha Turner-Smith is asking Judge Jackson to make her ex-husband cover her legal fees – around $75,000 – from their battle over where our child will be educated. It’s all about the costs she racked up fighting for what she believes is best for our kid’s schooling.

According to documents obtained by the site, the star of ‘Doctor Odyssey’ and his former partner have been working with a mediator to create a temporary parenting schedule for their daughter, with both parents sharing equal custody.

The pair have reportedly been in a legal battle since Turner-Smith filed for divorce two years ago.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, she filed for divorce citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ and listed September 2023 as the date she and her spouse separated.

In February 2024 she broke her silence about their divorce to The Sunday Times.

She explained she felt it was time to leave, believing that staying in unhealthy situations leaves lasting emotional wounds.

‘And they don’t just affect us, they affect everybody around us,’ she added.

It’s normal for things we hope for to not always go as planned, and that’s perfectly alright. What matters most is prioritizing the well-being of yourself, your family, and especially your children.

After his breakup, Jackson dated Lupita Nyong’o and was also rumored to be seeing German model Nastassja Roberts.

Jackson spent the summer filming a movie in New York City alongside his former partner, Katie Holmes, who he famously worked with on the show Dawson’s Creek.
