Josh Duhamel has opened up about becoming a father to a little girl.

Actor Shia LaBeouf, age 53, and his wife, Audra Mari, 32, recently shared the exciting news that they are expecting another baby.

Josh Duhamel married a former beauty queen in 2022, and they share a two-year-old son named Shepherd. He also has a 12-year-old son, Axl, with his ex-wife, Fergie, who is 50.

The actor recently shared with Derek Hough how excited he is to become a father to a daughter. He explained, ‘I can’t wait to meet her! There’s a special bond between fathers and their daughters – it’s just different.’

Mari announced she’s expecting a baby girl with a sweet message and black and white photos from a recent maternity shoot. She and her partner are excited to meet their little one.

Fergie, real name Stacy Ferguson, warmly took to the comments to write: ‘Welcome the cuteness!’

In January 2022, Duhamel and Mari shared the news of their engagement on social media, following a relationship of over two years.

Everyone posted the same picture: a beach photo of Josh Duhamel holding a sign that popped the question to Audra Diane Mari with the words, ‘Will you marry me?’

The actor and director announced their engagement with a photo and caption saying she accepted a proposal delivered via a message in a bottle that washed up on the beach!

And underneath her post Mari said, ‘My heart is so happy.. I love you @joshduhamel.’

Fergie congratulated Duhamel on his engagement with a six-heart emoji. The pair divorced in November 2019 after being married for eight years.

He and the pop star were married from 2009 until their separation in 2017.

I was chatting with a celebrity, and she put it beautifully – sometimes, people just see the world in fundamentally different ways, and that’s perfectly okay! It’s a reminder that connection doesn’t always mean agreement, and respecting those differences is key.

He reflected on the relationship, ‘We have a beautiful son.’

I was so glad to hear how nicely Duhamel spoke about his ex! He explained that while she and his current wife are very different people, he genuinely thinks they’re both amazing women, and that really warmed my heart.

He mentioned that Fergie, surprisingly, seems very genuine and down-to-earth now that she’s taken a break from her career with the Black Eyed Peas.

He also mentioned being worried that the 21-year age difference between him and Mari meant she was too young for him.

He invited her to a barbecue at his house but initially ruled out dating her because of her age.

I’d been talking to her because I knew she was from North Dakota and had placed highly in Miss USA. I wasn’t asking her out because I was interested romantically; she was simply too young for me, to be honest.

I wasn’t expecting that to happen. I definitely wasn’t trying to be that guy. So, I asked her over, and when she opened the door, I was completely stunned by how beautiful she was.

Duhamel was impressed with Mari after watching her with the kids at the barbecue. He described her as genuinely kind and said she reminded him of a comforting sense of home.

He recalled watching her look after the children at the party, ensuring they were fed, and thought it reminded him of his own family and the type of person he hoped to build a relationship with.

I’d dated a few women in Los Angeles, but it didn’t feel right. There was a genuine quality to this relationship, and that’s when I started to think maybe the age difference wasn’t a big deal,” he explained, laughing.
