Joseph Duggar’s show REMOVED from streaming after child molestation arrest… as sole jail visitor is revealed

Following Joseph Duggar’s arrest on charges of child molestation, the reality show Counting On is no longer available on two streaming platforms.

He first became well-known as part of his large family – with 18 siblings and his parents – on the TLC show 19 Kids and Counting. The show was canceled in 2015 after his brother, Josh Duggar, was involved in a scandal involving child pornography, leading to a 12-year prison sentence.

After Josh Duggar’s departure from the show, TLC created ‘Counting On’ to continue following the family’s lives. It aired for 11 seasons, from 2015 to 2020.

Joseph, a 31-year-old man with four children, was arrested last Wednesday, March 18th, in Tontitown, Arkansas. The arrest is related to accusations that he inappropriately touched a nine-year-old girl in Florida.

Two days after Joseph’s arrest, his wife, 27-year-old Kendra, was arrested in Tontitown and charged with four counts each of putting a child in danger and unlawfully restricting a child’s freedom. Joseph is now facing the same charges.

While awaiting his trial, the reality show Counting On has been taken off HBO Max and Discovery+ in the United States. However, some viewers in the UK and Canada have reported that they can still stream the show online, according to Us Weekly.

Kendra was released on bail last Friday, roughly an hour and a half after being arrested. Joseph, however, has agreed to be sent to Florida to deal with the charges against him, the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports.

People reports that Joseph called Kendra from jail last Friday, about two hours after she was released, to let her know he was in solitary confinement.

Page Six reports that Joseph hasn’t received any visits from his family in jail. His lawyer is the only person who has come to see him.

Joseph told his wife on the phone last Friday that he’d been spending a lot of time reading the Bible, which someone had given him while he was incarcerated.

He explained that at the Washington County Detention Facility in Arkansas, he was limited to a space only 8 by 10 feet for 23 hours each day.

Joseph mentioned he’s been confined to a small space, but he’s been using the time to read and rest. He admitted, though, that he hasn’t been sleeping well at night.

According to a sworn statement obtained by the Daily Mail, Joseph’s accuser claims she was sexually abused multiple times when she was nine years old during a family trip to Panama City Beach, Florida. The accuser is now 14 years old.

According to an affidavit by Bay County Deputy Sheriff Darrell Norris, she told a Tontitown police detective these details during a formal interview.

When Joseph and Kendra took their Florida vacation, they already had two children, and Kendra was expecting their third.

According to a detective’s affidavit, Joseph’s accuser said that during their Florida vacation, she would sit on his lap and he would hold her close with his arms.

According to the girl’s statement in the legal document, Joseph’s behavior changed as the holiday went on.

Honestly, it’s just… disturbing to hear her describe what happened. She said his hand actually touched her, like, grazed her private area, and not just accidentally – it happened ‘several times,’ she claims, and it wasn’t just a quick brush, it was outside her underwear. She was so shaken up, completely ‘confused’ and ‘uncomfortable,’ and I can’t even imagine how awful that must have been for her. It’s just… I’m so angry just thinking about it.

According to the affidavit, the person who accused Joseph stated that Joseph later apologized to the victim for what he did, and after that, the incidents ceased.

Following the girl’s interview with the Arkansas detective, Florida Deputy Sheriff Darrell Norris – the officer who prepared the legal document – asked them to contact Joseph, hoping he would confess.

I’ve been following this case closely, and the sworn statement is really disturbing. It says that during the phone call, Joseph actually confessed to what he did – he admitted to touching the victim, even if it was over her clothes. What’s even more upsetting is he admitted his motives weren’t right; he said his intentions weren’t pure. It’s a clear admission of wrongdoing, as far as I can tell.

After a judge approved a statement detailing a phone conversation, the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida received a warrant for an arrest, officials said.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office followed up by sending the arrest warrant to Arkansas authorities, which resulted in Joseph being arrested in Tontitown.

Last week, authorities arrested him in connection with inappropriate sexual activity involving a minor, according to a statement from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Lynn Haven, Florida.

A Tontitown, Arkansas police investigator contacted the BCSO about a reported case of past sexual abuse.

According to police, a 14-year-old girl reported that Duggar was involved in several inappropriate incidents about five years ago.

Investigators stated the incidents reportedly happened in 2020, when the victim was nine years old and vacationing with her family in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Both Joseph and Kendra are now facing new charges, including four counts each of endangering a child and unlawful imprisonment, according to the Tontitown Police Department as reported by TMZ.

Sources say the new legal issues Joseph and Kendra are facing in Arkansas are separate from Joseph’s existing case in Florida.

Since his arrest, some family members have spoken out, including his brother Josh, who is currently in prison for 12 years due to possessing child pornography.

His attorney told the Daily Mail: ‘Josh understands the stigma of being accused.

He’s deeply affected by the devastating impact false accusations can have on someone’s life. He also knows how easily a person can be unfairly targeted and misrepresented in the media, turning facts into exaggerated stories.

On Wednesday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Fayetteville, Arkansas, made Joseph Duggar’s booking photo public.

I couldn’t help but notice how different he looked. He had a really full beard and a completely serious, almost unreadable expression. It was striking, especially when I remembered his brother Josh’s mugshot from 2021 – Josh had been all smiles in that picture, and both photos were taken in Washington County. The contrast was really something.

The person who reported the incidents said their family was staying at a house on Danny Drive when they happened.

According to the BCSO, Joseph Duggar repeatedly asked a female companion to sit on his lap, and his actions became increasingly suggestive throughout the vacation.

Okay, so apparently after everything happened, Duggar actually apologized to her, and thankfully, that seemed to be the end of it. The Sheriff’s Office said things stopped after that, which… honestly, it’s just a relief to hear, even if it doesn’t make up for everything. I’ve been following this so closely, and knowing it stopped is… something, at least.

On Tuesday, the father of the person who reported the incident spoke with Joseph Duggar. According to the BCSO, Duggar admitted to what he did in front of the father and a detective in Tontitown.

Joseph Duggar was arrested and charged with offenses related to the sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12. The charges allege inappropriate behavior involving an adult and a minor.
