A 31-year-old man with four children was arrested last Wednesday in Tontitown, Arkansas. He’s accused of sexually touching a nine-year-old girl in Florida.

Kendra, Joseph’s wife and 27 years old, was arrested Friday in Tontitown and charged with harming and falsely imprisoning four children. Joseph is now facing the same charges.

Kendra was released on bail approximately an hour and a half after being booked. Joseph, however, has agreed to be extradited to Florida to answer to the charges against him, as reported by the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

According to a sworn statement obtained by the Daily Mail, the 14-year-old accusing Joseph allegedly experienced multiple instances of sexual abuse when she was nine years old during a family trip to Panama City Beach, Florida.

According to an affidavit by Bay County Deputy Sheriff Darrell Norris, she shared these details during a formal interview with a detective from the Tontitown Police Department.

After a judge approved a sworn statement detailing a phone conversation, the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida received a warrant for an arrest, officials said.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office then sent the arrest warrant to Arkansas authorities, which resulted in Joseph being arrested in Tontitown.

A Tontitown, Arkansas police investigator contacted the BCSO about a reported case of past sexual abuse.

According to police, a 14-year-old girl reported that Duggar was involved in several inappropriate incidents about five years ago.

Officials stated that the incidents reportedly happened in 2020, when the victim was nine years old and vacationing with her family in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Jim Bob Duggar, known from the show 19 Kids and Counting, is now facing more charges. According to the Tontitown Police Department, these include four counts of putting a child in danger and four counts of falsely imprisoning a minor, as reported by TMZ.

According to reports, the recent legal issues facing Duggar and Kendra in Arkansas are separate from his existing case in Florida.

He is being held in Arkansas as he awaits extradition back to Florida.

Since his arrest, some family members have spoken out, including his brother Josh, who is currently in prison serving a 12-year sentence for possessing child pornography.
