Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good Steal the Spotlight Despite Assault Scandal!
At the premiere of Number One on the Call Sheet, Jonathan Majors was seen showing affectionate gestures with his future spouse, Meagan Good.
Among the celebrities who attended the Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday, was Major – convicted in 2023 for assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend.
Thirty-five-year-old actor strolled arm-linked with his fiancée on the red carpet, donning a sleek black satin suit featuring a bold white stripe.
Meanwhile Meagan showed off her impressive figure in a white open-neck cropped shirt.

At the screening, the couple showcased an energetic performance a few months following their engagement, and it was exactly two years since Major’s conviction.
The couple’s appearance at the premiere in LA comes four months after their surprise engagement.
At the 2024 Ebony Power 100 event held at Nya Studios in November 2024, Majors proposed during their red carpet appearance.
At the gathering, Good gracefully displayed her new engagement ring to photographers. In a touching tribute during his heartfelt acceptance speech, Majors publicly acknowledged his future spouse.
The celebrated actor, known for his resilience, expressed profound affection for something wonderful beyond comparison, following a discussion with the audience about his journey within the criminal justice system, being a Black man.
In May 2023, Good started seeing Majors – a development that took place exactly two months after he encountered legal problems due to being apprehended for allegedly physically attacking his previous partner, Grace Jabbari, who was then 31 years old.
In a stunning turn of events that left me reeling, I, as a die-hard Marvel fan, discovered that the ex-actor was convicted for misdemeanor assault and harassment back in December 2023. Remarkably, he managed to escape serving time behind bars.
Instead, Majors was sentenced to attend a 52-week domestic violence intervention program.
In November, Majors and his former partner Jabbari reached an agreement to drop a civil case she had initiated against him, as they mutually decided to end the legal proceedings.
Prior to the 2023 assault, Majors’ career had been on an upswing.
Originally cast as the main antagonist in Marvel’s Kang Dynasty, the studio removed him following his legal troubles, ultimately shelving the movie project. This studio choice left the actor feeling devastated.
Despite his controversies, Majors has made his way back into the spotlight in recent months.
He’s been to numerous high-profile premiere events, and his most recent movie, titled Magazine Dreams, has just been given a theater release date.
The dramatic bodybuilding film featuring Major is now scheduled for release on March 21, 2025. Initially, it was canceled following Major’s conviction for assault. However, it has been rescheduled.
According to Deadline, Briarcliff Entertainment confirmed the imminent launch of the movie, which they announced in December.
In October, Briarcliff Entertainment acquired the rights for distribution of the upcoming movie. According to their CEO, Tom Ortenberg, they are preparing for a substantial theatrical debut in the opening quarter of 2025.
In the movie titled “Magazine Dreams,” penned and helmed by Elijah Bynum, we find Major portraying the character of Killian Maddox – a solitary, ambitious bodybuilder who occasionally succumbs to fits of anger, bearing scars from a life marked by suffering.
The film features Harrison Page, Harriet Sansom Harris, Taylour Paige, Haley Bennett, and Michael O’Hearn as fellow actors.
In January 2023, Magazine Dreams garnered positive reviews at the Sundance Film Festival. Initially planned for a late-2023 release by Searchlight Pictures.
