Jonathan LaPaglia’s Fiery Take Down of Married At First Sight Shocks Reality TV Fans!

It appears that there might be some tension within the realm of reality television, as Australian Survivor host Jonathan LaPaglia has criticized the widely-watched show, Married At First Sight.

55-year-old television host shared a post on Instagram on Tuesday, advertising the Australian Survivor: Brains vs Brawn series.

On the other hand, the post featuring the TV personality gesturing cautiously, was urging fans to steer clear of MAFS and instead focus on his survival series.

‘What the hell are you thinking?!,’ he wrote on Instagram.

‘Turn off MAFS now! And tune into BRAINS v BRAWN 7:30 tonight on 10 and 10Play!’

The 12th season, which premiered on Monday, was filmed in Samoa last year.

The program features 24 competitors facing various tasks, conquering hurdles, and stretching their abilities as they are split into teams known as ‘Intellectuals’ and ‘Physical Strength’.

This year’s lineup features a poker prodigy, a partner of an Australian Football League player, and surprisingly, a self-proclaimed witch, all vying for the stunning $500,000 grand prize in this competition.

In my latest reflection, I’d like to share an eye-opening confession I made last year about the toughest part of my work on the show.

As I look back on another year with the show, I can’t help but reveal the most challenging aspect of my role that took me by surprise.

The presenter confided to Yahoo that orchestrating the elimination ceremonies at the Tribal Council, during which a participant is sent home from the island, is especially challenging.

‘Tribals can go for hours,’ he began.

Managing 24 distinct narratives while ensuring players aren’t overwhelmed with unnecessary details is an exceptionally challenging task.

However, once you find the correct question and witness the tribe becoming more open, it’s delightful to relax and watch the unfolding spectacle.

Currently, Lapaglia is a frequent face on television, and he’s also part of the cast for Top Gear Australia, working alongside Blair Joscelyne and Beau Ryan.

Last year, Ryan revealed what it’s really like working with LaPaglia while promoting the series.

According to the Herald Sun, Beau complimented the Channel 10 celebrity but pointed out that he should loosen up a bit as he tends to be quite serious or intense.

In simpler terms, the ex-rugby player said, ‘He’s quite patient, intense, and mature, but he could use some more fun in his life.’

Instead of accepting the criticism passively, Jonathan countered by remarking that collaborating with Beau and their third cast member, Blair Joscelyn, felt more like working with children.

He found himself in the company of two overly energetic 12-year-olds, fueled by too much sweet treats. It was quite a lively scene, he remarked humorously, as it became challenging to get a word in edgeways, once their playful banter started flowing.

Instead of saying “However, Blair, 45, chimeed in and said: ‘I think the role of children is to try to keep the older people young… we have got to try to keep him zesty.'”

“Blair, aged 45, added his thoughts: ‘Children should strive to maintain the vitality of older individuals… We need to ensure he remains lively.’
