Oh boy, oh boy! As a lifelong New Yorker who has witnessed countless celebrity sightings, this latest encounter takes the cake (or should I say pizza?). The sheer serendipity of Jon Stewart strolling past a crowd waiting for Vice President Kamala Harris, munching on a slice, is the epitome of the city’s casual coolness. It’s like bumping into your favorite teacher in the deli, but way cooler!

A couple of days following Vice President Kamala Harris’ unexpected Saturday Night Live guesting, a stunning viral clip emerged from New York City.

Following the news about the Vice Presidential and Democratic Presidential candidate’s unexpected visit, people began to gather in Manhattan to catch a peek at her.

One Twitter user, @mulaneyiac, shared an interesting incident where her sister was recording a crowd, and unexpectedly, Jon Stewart from The Daily Show strolled past them.

On Sunday morning, a post by user X read: ‘My sister recorded a video of the crowd waiting for Kamala and Jon Stewart strolled by, enjoying pizza.’ In a subsequent tweet, they mentioned, ‘And we only just noticed!’

Later, he shared and briefly re-posted the same message along with a quick 5-second video clip, where it’s evident that Stewart was strolling through the frame while munching on a piece of pizza.

The post has over 132K views, showing Stewart walking by wearing a New York Rangers baseball cap and an olive green coat for the late night pizza outing.

One user, @Basic_Moll, posted on Twitter, ‘This is the quintessential New York moment I’ve come across – WOW!, to which the original poster responded, ‘I couldn’t agree more.’ (or simply: User @Basic_Moll tweeted, “This is the epitome of a New York moment – Wow!” The original poster replied, “Couldn’t have said it better myself.”)

@PM_316 playfully pointed out, ‘Television personalities appear as if they’re invisible to the ordinary eye, but only become visible when viewed through a camera.’

The original author @mulaneyiac concurred, expressing it as, ‘Yes, this is particularly accurate when you’re both moving forward and paying attention to something else.’

As a devoted follower, I can’t help but echo their sentiments: “This is absolutely insane, cracking me up!” or simply put, “This is hilariously absurd!

It’s akin to bumping into your former teacher at the supermarket, @jonstewart!

@chemwhitewine expressed the urgent necessity of relocating from New York immediately.

At present, Stewart hasn’t issued any public comments regarding the video through his confirmed social media platforms.

Stewart has come under fire as of late for defending Trump rally comedian Tony Hinchcliffe.

61-year-old prize recipient, identified as Mark Twain, confessed during a broadcast on October 28th of his Comedy Central program that he finds the 40-year-old comedian who specializes in insults to be extremely amusing. Remarkably, this is despite the fact that the comedian has made derogatory comments about Puerto Rico, labeling it as a floating island of trash, and other racially charged content.

Former Daily Show correspondent Wyatt Cenac blasted his former boss for ‘shielding’ the comedian.

As a devoted admirer, I defended the comedian’s involvement in the xenophobic gathering by attributing it to the organizers who scheduled a satirical performer instead, (putting it this way) – ‘I held the comedian accountable for the event’s prejudiced nature, as I believed the organizers should have known better than to engage a “satirical act” in such an environment.’

48-year-old’s post on Substack Sunday read, ‘After working with Jon, I wasn’t taken aback by his reply. It was disheartening, not unexpected.’
