As a die-hard fan of the Joker, I can confidently say that this upcoming release of the Joker 4K Steelbook is sending me into a frenzy! The memories of Joaquin Phoenix’s Oscar-winning performance still linger fresh in my mind, and with the sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux, just around the corner, I can hardly contain my excitement.

Joker is getting a brand new 4K Steelbook release before its sequel Joker: Folie à Deux debuts.

2019 saw me captivated by a comic book movie that earned Joaquin Phoenix an Oscar for Best Actor, thanks to his chilling portrayal of none other than the Joker himself.

As the follow-up movie starring Phoenix and Lady Gaga approaches cinemas, retailer Zavvi is releasing a special Steelbook edition of the original “Joker” film, available exclusively.

This two-DVD set includes a Joker poster as well, plus it has three artwork cards illustrating Arthur Fleck’s metamorphosis into the Joker.

Extra perks feature a behind-the-scenes documentary titled “The Making Of“, which provides a glimpse into Joker’s set alongside Phoenix and director Todd Phillips for the viewers.

Warner Bros offers a sneak peek into the development process of The Joker’s outfit, allowing DC enthusiasts to witness various design options, as well as alternative versions of key movie scenes for a behind-the-scenes experience.

Enthusiasts have the opportunity to secure the Steelbook Exclusive Edition of “Joker” in 4k Ultra HD from Zavvi, available for pre-order at the moment priced at £39.99. The movie will officially be released on next Monday (September 23).

The comeback of Phoenix as Arthur Fleck in “Joker: Folie à Deux” has garnered favorable initial criticisms after its debut at the Venice International Film Festival, marking the sequel’s world premiere.

The movie unfolds two years post the events from Joker, where Arthur finds himself romantically involved with fellow patient Lee, who goes by Harley Quinn (Lady Gaga), within the confines of the Arkham State Asylum.

In the upcoming sequel to the initial Joker film, it’s anticipated that its dreamlike aesthetic will persist. This is because director Todd Phillips has verified that the movie will start with an extended animated segment created by Sylvain Chomet, renowned for his work on The Triplets of Belleville.
