On a bustling Thursday in New York City, JoJo was observed making public appearances as she shared news about her forthcoming extended play, entitled “NGL.
Last year, the 34-year-old singer, who released her memoir titled “Over the Influence,” was spotted wearing a red imitation-leather trench coat outside.
She appeared almost unidentifiable, flaunting her fresh makeover – a stylish bob cut with golden-hued locks and delicate, fringe that accentuated her face.
Previously well-known child actress, recognized for her popular track “Leave (Get Out)” released in 2004, applied a vibrant shade of red lipstick that complemented her shiny red nail polish.
JoJo, born Joanna Levesque, flashed a hint of her wide-leg black trousers underneath her outerwear.
Her stylish ensemble was punctuated by a pair of pointy-toed metallic silver heeled boots.
During some moments JoJo sported a pair of sleek, oval-shaped, glossy black sunglasses.
As a die-hard fan of style, I couldn’t resist adding a vibrant touch to my outfit on that chilly day in the Northeast. I wrapped a striking red-and-black patterned scarf around my neck not just for warmth, but also to make a bold statement about my fashion sense!
The songstress has lately been promoting her new music, which is due out on Friday, January 24.
On Thursday, she stopped by the famed New York radio stations 103.5 KTU and Z100.
When composing a song, there are moments when, after taking a break, one might find oneself exclaiming, “Wow, this is truly impressive!” She shared this thought during her visit to Z100.
Then, it seems like you might be saying, “Am I doing poorly?” followed by, “I can’t seem to do anything right.” It’s truly a emotional up-and-down ride for you.
In her explanation of her creative approach, she said, “I prefer composing a song, stepping back for a while, and then assessing my feelings about it.
In late 2023, Levesque wrote her newest collection of songs. She pondered over them, ultimately deciding to release a project.
She reflected, ‘To hear the evolution of these songs has been really, really cool.’
The longtime performer also reflected on the shift in the music industry over the last 20 years.
She asserted, “The music industry may be unique, but so am I, and I’m versatile enough to handle changes. I strongly believe that there are greater possibilities for artists to form direct bonds with their audience.
Overall, she said she thinks it’s a ‘fire time to be a creative person.’
