It appears that JoJo Siwa has begun a change, showcasing a beautiful new appearance, as she gave a sneak peek of her latest music video on Monday.

The young artist, aged 22, subtly suggested that she intended to share her rendition of Kim Carnes’ 1981 classic “Bette Davis Eyes” on streaming platforms. She altered the song’s lyrics to create a heartfelt on-stage homage to her partner, Chris Hughes.

Initially, JoJo sung the song for the first time at a festival in May. Later on, she acknowledged that Chris, who was among the spectators, wasn’t aware of her alteration to the final line of the song, from ‘Better Davis’ Eyes,’ to ‘Chris Hughes’ Eyes,’ until the exact moment she belted it out live.

It appears that JoJo is drawing inspiration from a classic Hollywood figure for her music video’s theme. On Instagram and TikTok, she shared a clip displaying her in a 1930s-style blonde wig, pearls, and a frilly blue top cropped at the waist.

In the caption of her post, JoJo shared that she was indecisive about publishing the cover on Spotify. She wrote: ‘Having performed this track live and receiving such a heartwarming reaction, I chose to record a studio vocal…’
