Just when you thought the Jackass movies were finished, Johnny Knoxville has announced that a new film is coming soon! It looks like fans won’t have to wait long to see it.

Johnny Knoxville announced on Instagram that the next Jackass movie will be released on June 26th. He shared a poster and a photo of the star raising his fist in the air to celebrate the news.

Knoxville’s post generated a lot of buzz, including comments from original cast members Steve-O and Chris Pontius. Fans were thrilled too, with one commenting that their hopes for a Jackass revival had been answered.

After the first two movies, we were firm about not continuing the series. But then we made a third, and now a fourth, so we’ve learned not to rule anything out.

It looks like a sequel is happening after all! While we don’t have the official title, cast details, or trailer just yet, we’ll have to be patient and wait for more information.

The currently untitled fifth Jackass film will be in cinemas on 26 June.
