Johnny Depp is supported by pals Ronnie and Sally Wood at UK premiere of new movie after opening up about his ‘dumping’ from Hollywood amid Amber Heard’s allegations of abuse

At the premiere of his latest film, Modi: Three Days on the Wing of Madness, Johnny Depp sported his signature fashionable appearance on Tuesday evening.

The upcoming movie set to debut in the UK this Friday is helmed by a well-known Hollywood actor aged 62, and features an illustrious lineup of celebrities led by Al Pacino.

Johnny arrived at the UK premiere shortly after 8pm donning as extravagant an outfit as ever. 

As he donned a pair of blue-tinted sunglasses that mirrored his socks, the focal point wore a stylish dark gray suit, accessorized with a scarf and boots, fitting for the event.

He took pictures alongside the actors from the latest movie, which featured Riccardo Scamarcio, Bruno Gouery, and main actress Antonia Desplat.

Johnny and Antonia, radiating joy, graced the central London occasion while wearing a striking yellow gown. They were captured laughing and playing outside, adding to their charming presence.

The recently released movie, titled “The Life of Bohemian Artist Amedeo Mogigliani,” signifies Johnny Depp’s re-entry into directing, a role he last undertook about 25 years ago following the premiere of his debut directorial work, “The Brave” in 1997.

At the much-anticipated premiere, his friends Ronnie and Sally Wood joined in the celebrations with the actor from Pirates of the Caribbean.

As an ardent admirer, I’ve always been captivated by the electrifying bond between the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist, now 78, and the charismatic Johnny Depp. In fact, their friendship goes so deep that even in 2018, Depp graced the stage with the Rolling Stones during one of their unforgettable performances.

On the red carpet, Ronnie exuded his usual elegance, donning a sleek black suit with a matching tie following the removal of fashionable sunglasses.

In 2012, when he married her (who is now 47), she captivated the event in a striking gold gown and bold red lipstick.

The couple appeared deeply in love, with arms entwined, as they struck poses during their photo session upon arrival.

41-year-old actress Eva-Jane Willis (FBI International), who is of South African and Irish descent, graced the event accompanied by her husband, Alex Forsyth.

She briefly showed off her toned abdomen in a black-and-white two-piece swimsuit, as she playfully posed with her spouse during the shoot, having tied the knot in 2022.

In the past couple of weeks, Johnny Depp’s latest project has been unveiled, following his public discussion about being excluded from Hollywood in the wake of Amber Heard’s accusations of abuse against him.

Johnny strenuously denied the accusations made by his ex, who he split from in 2016, 

It was reported that their supposedly violent relationship caused a significant stir within the field, resulting in the termination of their involvement in ongoing projects at the time.

Following the emergence of her accusations in 2018, it seemed as if Johnny Depp’s role in Fantastic Beasts was abruptly terminated in a blink of an eye.

In an interview with The Telegraph, he shared that during the filming, they suggested he step down from his position. However, what was actually running through his mind was their request for him to retire.

He replied, saying, “‘You’re mistaken if you believe you can inflict more pain on me than I’ve already experienced. There are simply too many of me to eliminate.’ In a different tone.

In 2015, Johnny tied the knot with Amber, who he had met while filming The Rum Diary in 2011. Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t last long, as she initiated divorce proceedings the following year. The divorce was finalized in 2017.

Apart from losing his job, Johnny has asserted that he was also disappointed by certain individuals within his close group, who were supposed to support him, but did not live up to their promises as they attended his children’s birthday celebrations.

Addressing The Sunday Times, Johnny voiced his disapproval towards the behavior of three of his confidants, stating he had served as a guinea pig for the #MeToo movement.

He mentioned that he has been wronged by a few individuals. Specifically, there are three people he is referring to. Interestingly, these individuals attended his children’s parties and playfully tossed them up in the air.

And indeed, it’s clear that those who couldn’t support me found it daunting to make the correct decision.

Throughout the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard trial concluded in June 2022, I found myself among countless supporters who gathered at the Fairfax County courthouse in Virginia, expressing their backing for me.

Johnny’s high-profile legal disputes started after he initiated a libel case against the publisher of The Sun and its editor, Dan Wootton, in response to a 2018 article that alleged him as a domestic abuser.

In 2020, the High Court of Justice sided with The Sun’s publisher and Wootton, but it wasn’t until 2019 that Johnny took legal action against Amber for defamation, stemming from an op-ed article she penned for The Washington Post in 2018.

In 2020, she filed a lawsuit against her former husband, which kicked off in April 2022. Exactly two months after that, the jury rendered their decision, siding with Johnny.

In that moment, the star responded to the verdict and conveyed his gratitude, stating that “the jury returned my freedom to me. I am deeply moved by this.

Additionally, he conveyed, ‘It was a debt I owed to my kids and those loyal supporters who stood by me, that I spoke the truth. Now, I find tranquility in realizing that I’ve finally fulfilled that obligation.’

Since then, Amber has relocated and established herself in Spain, where she is currently raising her trio of kids. This includes her daughter, who was born through surrogacy in the year 2021, and twins, whom she introduced to the world in May.

After the trial, Johnny has come back to the silver screen, much like the release of Jeanne du Barry (2023).
