In addition to “Ballerina” hitting theaters today (June 6), it’s worth noting that Lionsgate had earlier confirmed the development of another “John Wick” spin-off. After the release of “Chapter 4” in 2023, viewers found themselves enamored with Donnie Yen‘s character, the blind assassin known as Caine, who shared a deep history with Keanu Reeves’ John Wick. The adoration for Caine was so intense that Lionsgate and Chad Stahelski announced they were working on a standalone film featuring this character. Progress on the project seems to be moving forward, but Stahelski has given a significant update about “Caine” that is sure to disappoint fans.
