John Wick gets new UK streaming home ahead of Ballerina release
John Wick has found a new streaming home in the UK ahead of the release of Ballerina.
In this movie, it’s Keanu Reeves who takes on the lead character – John Wick, a man once known for his lethal skills as an assassin, who is pulled back into action following the tragic death of a beloved pet puppy that his deceased spouse had given him. The film revolves around his quest for revenge.
A former assassin, seeking revenge, emerges from his hiding place to hunt down the criminal underworld who stole all he had.

Initially scheduled for a June 7th, 2024 release, the movie got delayed in February 2024 following extra filming of action scenes.
In a new role, Ana de Armas portrays Eve Macarro, a skilled assassin with roots in the Ruska Roma culture, often referred to as ballerinas within this context.
In an interview with Collider, de Armas hinted at the upcoming spin-off being both seductive and risky.
She expressed great enthusiasm, saying, “I can’t help but feel proud of it. It’s truly exhilarating! There’s an edge-of-your-seat danger, a tantalizing sexiness – it definitely reminds me of ‘John Wick.’ I have a feeling people will be taken aback. I might be biased, but I honestly think it’s incredibly cool. It promises to be nothing short of astonishing.
During the additional filming, she commented: “Everything filmed during the reshoots was essential. The footage turned out fantastic, truly breathtaking.
John Wick is available to stream now on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland.
