John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure And More Full House Stars Shared Emotional Tributes For Bob Saget On 4th Anniversary Of His Death

It’s hard to believe it’s been four years since the passing of beloved comedian Bob Saget. The former stand-up and star of Full House died in a tragic accident four years ago today, and many of his co-stars, including Candace Cameron Bure, John Stamos, and Dave Coulier, shared memories of him on this sad anniversary.

Bure took to Instagram and posted a collection of photos of herself and Saget. Some of them are more recent, from the period in and around the Fuller House reboot, but a couple of these are true throwbacks to when Candace Cameron Bure was just a kid named Candace Cameron. It’s a relationship that has spanned most of her life, and seeing it in pictures is equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking.

Bob Saget is one of those performers that a generation grew up watching, and so it felt like they knew the man personally. He was one of America’s most famous dads as Danny Tanner on Full House, even if his stand-up work was far more mature. John Stamos posted his own Instagram tribute, with shots from both the Full House days and more recent times, showing the progression of a long friendship. In his post, Stamos said…

Losing Bob is like the silence that follows a burst of joy. You can still almost hear his presence, but the energy and warmth are missing, leaving a sense of emptiness.

John Stamos and Bob Saget developed a strong friendship despite initially not liking each other, according to Stamos. One of their final moments together was a visit to Disneyland, Stamos’ beloved theme park. Sadly, no one could have predicted that this would be their last time together, as Saget unexpectedly passed away. He reportedly died from injuries sustained in a fall at a Florida hotel while on tour for his stand-up comedy show.

The third member of the Full House trio, Dave Coulier, didn’t miss the chance to tell the world what Bob Saget meant to him, in his own Instagram post, he said he thought his friend would want that…

Bob was truly one of a kind, and I’ll cherish the wonderful memories we shared forever. I miss him more than words can say. He always encouraged me to express my feelings, and sharing how much I loved him is exactly what he’d want. I love you, Bob. ❤️

Bob Saget clearly had a big impact on many people. Whether you knew him personally or just enjoyed his work, his passing leaves a void. We’re sending our deepest sympathy to his family and friends during this sad time.
