John Owen Lowe addresses rumors that he’s dating Lucy Hale… a month after they were spotted getting lunch together: ‘Things can blow out of proportion’

Around about a month ago, speculation swirled that John Owen Lowe and Lucy Hale were an item. However, Lowe later appeared to quash these rumors.
In late June, Hale was seen exiting Tocaya Modern Mexican in Studio City with the 28-year-old actor and Rob Lowe’s son.
A few short days after that, Hale was seen having dinner with David Bernard, the producer of The White Lotus.
35-year-old Hale hasn’t spoken out about the rumors, but during his promotion for the upcoming season of Unstable (airing August 1), Lowe was questioned about it in a guest appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.
A listener phoned in to query if Lowe and Hale were more than just friends, an inquiry that Lowe answered enigmatically.

Among the many who left comments was Hale, who announced she was two years sober in January.
“This is incredible! You’re truly impressive. Shining bright like a star,” Hale commented, accompanied by a black heart emoji.
Over the last few years, Hale has openly shared her experiences with sobriety. In early January 2023, during her first anniversary celebration, she disclosed that she began drinking alcohol at the young age of 12 or 13.
She recalled her initial encounter with alcohol having an identical outcome: at the age of 12, she lost consciousness and became severely ill. Unfortunately, the details of that fateful event are hazy in her memory, as she vomited uncontrollably and felt deeply distressed upon discovering what had transpired.
In my personal journey as a lifestyle guide, I didn’t recognize the hold alcohol had on me until I hit my mid-twenties. It wasn’t until my 23rd year, amidst the spotlight of my role in Pretty Little Liars, that I found myself for the first time seeking solace and healing within the walls of a rehabilitation center.
When I turned 23, I made the decision to seek help at a rehabilitation center, something I kept hidden from everyone involved in the show.
She shared that this experience marked a significant turning point in her life’s journey. However, at that time, she wasn’t yet prepared to quit drinking and thus didn’t achieve sobriety until the age of 32.
