John Krasinski and Natalie Portman will play onscreen siblings in Fountain of Youth
As a fan who’s been on this rollercoaster of emotions since Jim Halpert graced our screens, I can confidently say that John Krasinski is nothing short of a marvel! From his hilarious stint on The Office to his gripping performances in more serious roles, the man knows how to captivate an audience.
John Krasinski is a true talent! He made us laugh and proved he could be a comedic actor on The Office. Since then, he’s been in more dramatic roles in both film and television. And he’s just as good in those projects as well! There’s an upcoming one we’re excited about and that’s Fountain of Youth starring the actor alongside Natalie Portman.
In the upcoming Apple Studios and Skydance film, these two actors will portray on-screen siblings. This unexpected duo is exactly what we didn’t realize was missing! As reported by Deadline, the pair have been estranged but join forces for a worldwide heist to locate the legendary Fountain of Youth. Given their extensive knowledge in history, they might have an edge in this life-altering adventure that could potentially grant them eternal life.
Wow, isn’t that intriguing! I can hardly wait to see how this adventurous tale unfolds with Krasinski and Portman leading the way. Production for Fountain of Youth began in February 2024, with the cast and crew setting up camp in Bangkok, Thailand. Other filming locations include Vienna, Austria and Liverpool, England. Given that this story is centered around adventure, it seems fitting that the characters would have to traverse several cities in their quest for the Fountain of Youth.
The filming process was concluded and wrapped up in October 2024, as per Deadline’s report. With post-production work on the horizon, we fans eagerly await the announcement of a release date, with hopes that it might be early 2025. Keep your fingers crossed!
It’s possible that the studios might decide to delay the release of Fountain of Youth, directed by Guy Ritchie, until summer. We’ll have to wait and see! Maybe we’ll get a trailer in the coming months, but only time will tell.
