John Goodman, 72, Injured on Set with Tom Cruise – Fans Fear for His Health!

John Goodman is currently recuperating following an incident during the production of his recent movie in England, where he was working alongside action legend Tom Cruise.

According to a representative from the set who talked to People, the 72-year-old actor sustained an injury to his hip.

According to the representative, Goodman was quickly provided with medical care which resulted in a temporary pause in filming to give him time to recuperate.

‘The production resumes shooting next week following John’s full recovery,’ the rep asserted.

Under the guidance of Alejandro G. Iñárritu, an unnamed production is being filmed at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England.

Initially reporting about the incident, The Sun stated that the mishap related to the movie codenamed “Judy” had led to disarray and expensive setbacks.

As reported by Deadline, an actor from The Connors series suffered a slip during a scene rehearsal for the movie and received medical attention at a hospital.

The injury resulted in filming being stopped for two days.

According to sources, Goodman’s injury was considered ‘not severe’, and it was anticipated that he would return to work by Monday.

In the plot listed on IMDB, Cruise, 62, stars as ‘the most powerful man in the world.’

Following the catastrophe he instigates, the character sets out on a journey to demonstrate his role as mankind’s rescuer.

Jesse Plemons and Riz Ahmed have also been cast in the action adventure.

Warner Bros. currently has the film scheduled for release in October 2026.

Goodman, who was set to launch the fourth season of his series The Righteous Gemstones this coming Sunday, has remained silent regarding any statements at this time.

The award-winning individual has a number of upcoming endeavors lined up, such as the animated version of the Smurfs, as well as the darkly humorous film titled “Chili Finger,” which stars Bryan Cranston and Sean Astin.

Cruise will be seen on the big screen next in Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

The life we lead is determined by the decisions we make,” as stated by Cruise in his social media post along with a movie trailer.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can’t contain my excitement for the final installment of the renowned series, “Final Reckoning,” set to debut on May 23, marking the official commencement of our beloved summer blockbuster season here in the U.S. over the extended Memorial Day weekend. Can’t wait!
