John Farnham’s Son James Shows Off Pregnant Partner’s Baby Bump Ahead of First Child!

John Farnham is about to experience the joy of becoming a grandparent for the first time, and his son James appears overjoyed; he was seen proudly displaying his partner’s expanding belly on Saturday.

Back in January, I, a die-hard fan, was overjoyed to learn that the legendary Australian vocalist’s son is welcoming a new addition to his family! He and Tessa Effendi are having a little boy, and they’re expecting him later this year. This news has got me buzzing with excitement!

James recently posted a sweet selfie on Instagram, capturing him and his partner snuggling together while showcasing her growing belly.

On the other hand, the contented pair seemed to relish their shared evening, with Tessa gracefully donning a snug, white top, and James preferring a sleek black PAX t-shirt.

James and Tessa shared the exciting news of their upcoming baby earlier this year by posting a video on Instagram. The video featured James lighting up a beautifully adorned cake bearing the message “due in 2025.

Once he ignited the engraving, it started flaking off to uncover the word ‘Boy’, verifying that they were expecting a son.

He also shared a photo of his partner’s ultrasound photo, which showed their unborn baby’s hand.

James captioned the clip with some heartfelt words: ‘Coming 2025! Tessa, I love you so much!’

For quite some time now, James has been in a partnership with Tessa, a licensed practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and they had once gone to the premiere of the John Farnham: Finding the Voice documentary as a duo.

2024 saw the marriage of the elder son of the renowned “You’re The Voice” singer to his long-time partner, Melissa Kelly. This union marked the beginning of their family line, as they are now expecting their first grandchild.

Last summer, finding myself utterly smitten, I eagerly followed along as James and Rob, both 45, generously opened a window into their personal lives, striving to gather funds for the noble cause of cancer research.

On August 22, Rob and James, serving as representatives for the Cancer Council’s yearly Daffodil Day fundraiser, posted a heartwarming collection of family photos on Rob’s Instagram account.

As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but be captivated by the video that unfolded before my eyes, featuring none other than Rob and James reminiscing heartwarmingly about their legendary father’s courageous battle against cancer. The screen was adorned with a mesmerizing carousel of precious family snapshots, rare gems that offered a glimpse into their personal journey, making the moment even more poignant for me as a devoted fan.

‘Our father was diagnosed with cancer two years ago,’ Rob said in the video.

Over the past few years, our family has faced challenging times. Initially, it was due to a mouth ulcer that turned out to be cancer, which made those periods incredibly tough for everyone involved.

James added initiatives like Daffodil Day had played a crucial role in his father’s survival.

He stated, “Without cancer research, our father wouldn’t be alive today. That’s why events such as Daffodil Day hold significant importance.

Afterward, Rob encouraged his supporters to contribute to the significant initiative by making an online donation or locating a nearby flower stand.

‘This Daffodil Day, for everything that cancer takes, please give,’ Rob concluded.

There’s some uncertainty about whether John will take the stage again following the extensive surgery he had to excise a tumor from his mouth in 2022.

During the procedure performed by 26 healthcare professionals, a significant portion of his lower jaw was taken out. Twelve months following the operation, John announced that he had no more signs of cancer in his body.

It wasn’t until his wife, Jill, persuaded him to visit the doctor due to a prolonged mouth sore, that he learned about the cancerous growth in his mouth.
