Joey Lawrence’s wife Samantha Cope ‘files to dismiss their divorce’ after he shared a photo of them kissing
As a dedicated follower of Hollywood news and a longtime admirer of Joey Lawrence’s acting career, it is always heartening to see couples work through their differences and find their way back to each other. Having seen my fair share of relationships in Tinseltown come and go, I can’t help but appreciate the resilience and determination that Joey and Samantha seem to be displaying in this situation.

On Thursday, according to TMZ’s report, the stunning woman withdrew her divorce petition just a few days ago.
It was only five months ago that she filed for divorce.
It seems that the lovebirds are rekindling their relationship, as they’ve recently been spotted acting affectionately in a local park.
The actor, 48, and his 37-year-old wife were joined by their 19-month-old daughter, Dylan.
Additionally, they posted pictures showing their affection at a pre-Christmas movie premiere, as they portray an engaged couple planning to tie the knot on Christmas itself in the forthcoming film titled “Merry Christmas”.
In one particularly heartwarming snap, Joey and Samantha shared a kiss, and he captioned it, ‘My forever after.’
Lawrence expressed profound gratitude, feeling immensely fortunate, and expressing thanks that seems endless, like the stars in a galaxy. His heart is overflowing with this emotion. (In response to another picture he posted.)
In response, Cope added a kind remark, “I love you,” and Lawrence replied warmly, “I love you so very much, darling.
Later on, August 21 being the initial date, Samantha updated her submitted document. In this revised version, she petitioned the court to share legal guardianship rights with her partner regarding their 19-month-old daughter, Dylan.
In this arrangement, Cope was aiming for full physical custody of the child, with the understanding that Lawrence could have Dylan for a maximum of two nights each week starting from January 2026 when the child turns three.
She blocked the court’s ability to award spousal support.
In the year 2022, Lawrence tied the knot with Cope, following their encounter on the filming location of the Lifetime movie titled “My Husband’s Secret Brother.
Before her, Joey had been wedded to Chandie Yawn-Nelson from 2005. They officially parted ways and made their separation public in July 2020.
The exes share two children — daughters Charleston, 18, and Liberty, 14.
According to TMZ, who examined legal papers, Cope attributed their separation, which occurred in June, to unresolvable disagreements, leading to the end of her relationship with Lawrence.
As a fervent advocate for my child’s well-being, I made it clear in court that I do not wish for Lawrence to enjoy prolonged visits with Dylan until she reaches an age where she can make informed decisions about such encounters herself.
Additionally, it was suggested that she should have authorization for anyone who isn’t a relative, that her daughter interacts with when she’s with Lawrence, as reported by the source.
Back in August 2021, Cope and Lawrence made their engagement public to Us Weekly. The actor expressed his excitement about it, saying to the magazine, “There’s a lot of fantastic things, a lot of truly wonderful things happening. She’s simply amazing.
They tied the knot in May 2022 at the Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, California.
At that point in time, Cope shared with People that her relationship with Lawrence moved quickly: ‘Right from the start, it felt incredibly secure to be true to myself. Just two weeks into it, I found myself thinking, “I will be with you for eternity.”‘
She mentioned, “When you encounter a compatible individual, luck may bring you swift understanding. I’ve found someone who shares my thoughts and expresses love in a similar manner, and our communication style is identical. This is crucial, and I am incredibly grateful for it.
