Joe Gatto Faces New Allegations of Inappropriate Behavior Just After Denying Assault Claims
In a new development, actress and comedian Joe Gatto, known for his role in Impractical Jokers, is facing accusations of inappropriate conduct by a second woman. This allegation surfaced only a day after he denied charges of sexual misconduct made by a different woman.
A comedian, aged 48, is currently facing allegations of inappropriate conduct, which have been described as sexual harassment by a previous staff member, according to People’s report.
The woman asserts that she initially encountered him at one of his performances when she was fifteen years old. She further alleges that his demeanor shifted significantly towards her once she turned eighteen and began acting more flirtatiously.
Prior to leaving in 2021, the employee had been employed by Gatto while he was part of Impractical Jokers.
In her work experience with Gatto, she claims that on certain occasions he made inappropriate physical advances towards her, such as unwanted touching, and often requested for shoulder massages. Additionally, she alleges that he invited her to his room with the intention of cuddling, and persistently questioned her about intimate aspects of her personal life concerning her sexual relationships.
Upon being asked for a response, Gatto’s representative directed us to his previous statement, in which he refuted claims made by TikTok user Joozyb.
He confided to Page Six, “I’ve made mistakes in judgment and in doing so, I’ve let down the people I cherish the most. However, it’s essential for those who truly know me to understand that I would never harm or assault anyone.
He added that he would be stepping back from the spotlight in response to the allegations.

A second individual alleges that following her graduation from college, prior to starting her employment, an ex-employee supposedly cautioned her about the comedian being known for his flirtatious and inappropriately touchy behavior, as well as for making inappropriate jokes.
She said the employee advised her to immediately put a stop to any ‘creepy’ behavior.
In her employment with Gatto, the woman claims that he frequently boasted about his relationship status being open with his wife Bessy Gatto, who is 42 years old. Currently, she doubts the veracity of this statement.
Gatto, having two children with Bessy, departed from the program post-divorce, expressing a desire to concentrate on joint parenting with her following their separation. However, they reconciled in September 2023.
The person making the allegations states that Gatto sent private messages on social media, complimented her by saying she was attractive, and exhibited signs of being protective or possessive, showing signs of jealousy whenever she posted pictures of her partner.
It’s claimed that the comedian is said to have once touched the woman’s upper thigh while they were both in an elevator within a hotel during their professional journey.
She reacted by stepping back from him, as it was reported that Gatto claimed he “understood” he would cause unease during their journey.
According to the source, it’s alleged that during a business trip, he persuasively urged his team members to accompany him to his private room for drinks. However, Gatto himself, claiming to be abstinent, chose not to drink but encouraged others to partake, as reported.
In addition, she claims he grew unpleasant at work the day following her rejection or lack of response to his romantic overtures, and she felt compelled to consistently maintain a pleasant demeanor towards him out of concern for potentially losing her employment due to this dynamic.
In her account, she considers this instance as an element of a supposedly ongoing scheme of alleged emotional control that lasted during her two-year tenure, and only ceased when she decided to depart.
Additionally, she mentioned that the recurring humor from Gatto about using the freight elevator instead of the main lobby to access their shared office space in their two-bedroom apartment, was reminiscent of joozyb’s TikTok account’s testimonies.
On Saturday, Gatto disputed a TikTok user’s allegation of sexual assault when she was 19. However, he acknowledged that he had exhibited poor judgment in some instances.
In the year 2023, I found myself confronted by accusations from a TikTok user known as Joozyb. This individual chose to remain anonymous when leveling claims against me that I had assaulted her following an encounter at one of my shows in Milwaukee in September.
According to the TikTok user, she asserted that following her encounter with Gatto and snapping a photo together, he gave her not one but two tickets for his upcoming stand-up comedy performance that same evening.
She added snapshots of her text messages with Gatto, allegedly from the evening they first encountered, as well as a photograph she had taken with the comedian during their backstage encounter at the performance.
Following the performance, she mentioned that they had been exchanging messages, as she expressed in her TikTok clip: “I’d had a few drinks, no big deal, and he was sending me these texts. Frankly, things were beginning to feel a bit strange, if you catch my drift.
She asserted that Gatto subsequently made their chat threads disappear (by using the ‘hide conversations’ feature) on Instagram, and informed her about the location where he would be staying for the night.
As a lifestyle advisor, I find myself compelled to address a troubling situation. The accuser chose not to delve deeply into the details of the alleged sexual assault, instead opting for a more cryptic description: “some things transpired.” However, she did provide an image of her backside, clearly displaying a large bruise, and made a shocking statement: “This is what he did… with his TEETH.” This revelation underscores the gravity of the situation and serves as a stark reminder of the importance of respect and consent in our interactions.
Gatto has not been accused or charged with any crimes by any law enforcement agencies.
She expressed that she had been eager to share this information with others for a prolonged period, following the disclosure of her accusations this week.
She’s attempted various methods, but it proves challenging when dealing with someone of such size. She eventually recognized that any comment she makes carries significant weight.
She noted in the caption for her TikTok video: “I’m not sure about my objective, but I hope to make it clear that not everyone is as they appear.
Following the video gaining numerous views, certain spectators raised questions about the accusations against Gatto, speculating on what he might have offered her if she visited his hotel instead.
The accuser responded to those questioning her story: ‘I’m sorry if you don’t want to believe it.’
However, those individuals you admire may not always act virtuously. They can make poor choices, engage in unethical behavior, and sometimes exploit others.
The accusations against Gatto arise following his encounter with personal hardships over the past few years, such as departing from Impractical Jokers and the comedy collective The Tenderloins back in 2021.
