As a long-time Doctor Who fan, I’m absolutely thrilled to hear that Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill are returning to their roles as the Thirteenth Doctor and companion Yasmin Khan for a new series of audio adventures! The thought of more episodes featuring these beloved characters is truly exciting.
Jodie Whittaker, who portrays the Thirteenth Doctor in “Doctor Who,” and Mandip Gill, her on-screen companion Yasmin Khan, are prepared to reprise their roles in a collection of fresh audio stories.
I’m thrilled to share that my favorite stars are lending their exceptional vocal skills to Big Finish’s newest creation, “The Thirteenth Doctor Adventures.” This captivating series consists of a dozen enthralling hour-long episodes.
As an avid fan, I’m thrilled to share that we can look forward to the series commencement in July 2025! Pre-orders for both physical and digital editions are already open through Big Finish.
In 2017, Whittaker made her debut on the BBC series as the first female version of The Doctor. She left the show in 2022, with David Tennant taking over the role next, followed by Ncuti Gatwa who currently holds it.
I’m thrilled beyond words to be back with Big Finish for additional escapades in the TARDIS.
It’s a delight to rewatch the Thirteenth Doctor and Yaz together. Mandip and I always looked forward to the fresh experience of working on a new “Doctor Who” episode and encountering a whole new acting ensemble.

Big Finish is notable for bringing back former stars of the show for new audio adventures.
In April, it was revealed that David Bradley would once again portray the First Doctor character in a collection of audio stories. He has previously assumed this role, which was originally brought to life by William Hartnell, on several occasions in more recent years.
In the United Kingdom, you can catch new episodes of Doctor Who on BBC One, while viewers outside of the UK can watch it on Disney+. For those in the UK, older episodes of Doctor Who can be found on BBC iPlayer.
