Joshua and his British model partner began dating in 2018. They quietly got married in 2019 and then welcomed their daughter, Juno, in 2020.

According to People magazine, Jonathan Van Ness filed for divorce in October 2023, stating they had separated the previous month.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ in May, Jackson is ordered to pay $2,787 per month for child support, but will not provide ongoing monthly support to his spouse.
