Jodie Turner-Smith says ex Joshua Jackson has not paid child/spousal support and needs to start

As a seasoned observer of the world of entertainment, I must say that Jodie Turner-Smith‘s life seems to be a whirlwind of opportunities and challenges, much like a Hollywood blockbuster unfolding right before our eyes. Her journey from the Big Apple to the silver screen is nothing short of inspiring, and it’s fascinating to see her take on such diverse roles in a variety of genres.

For fourteen months now, Jodie Turner-Smith has been seeking child and spousal support from her former husband, Joshua Jackson, following their divorce, yet he has failed to provide any financial assistance for their four-year-old daughter, Juno Rose Diana Jackson.

As a diehard fan, I find myself compelled to share an update: Yours truly, a 38-year-old British transplant turned American scholar, along with my high-powered legal representative, ‘Disso Queen’ Laura Wasser, filed fresh paperwork on Monday. Our aim? To persuade the judge to mandate that the illustrious 46-year-old Canadian begins making monthly payments, as per our request.

According to TMZ, Jodie claims Joshua is breaking his promise to ensure their daughter’s financial stability in case of separation, a commitment he supposedly made aware of the challenges faced by Black women and single mothers.

Turner-Smith is asking that Jackson pays her a monthly child support amount of $8,543, a monthly spousal support amount of $28,641, along with legal fees and forensic accounting expenses totaling $250,000.

The antagonist from “The Bad Monkey,” a person who possesses properties in Los Angeles, London, and Jamaica, asserted that the producer-star of “Doctor Odyssey” makes more money than she does. However, on December 2nd, she laughed it off to THR by stating, ‘My life is not controlled by men.’

In a conversation with Glamour UK in October, Jodie stated, ‘[Joshua] has the freedom to do as he pleases. However, it is important to treat Juno and Juno’s mother kindly because I will always be Juno’s surrogate mother.’

Transitioning after a separation can be challenging for anyone, as you’ve grown accustomed to spending so much time with your child.

‘Every parent leads their own unique lifestyle, and when the cause of your separation is due to living separate lives, it adds an extra layer of complexity as you navigate the process of joint parenting.’

Meanwhile, Turner-Smith has grown weary of men, whereas Jackson was seen getting cozy with model Nastassja Roberts in September, following a lengthy courtship with Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o.

In an interview with Deadline on December 13th, the nominee for a SAG Award referred to The Acolyte co-star as his soon-to-be former spouse. He also mentioned that he accepted the role of Victor in next year’s Karate Kid: Legends due to Juno.

‘My daughter could see [it potentially] before she graduates from high school,’ Joshua explained.

If she might show curiosity about your occupation in the future, it would be pleasant to have something to direct her to.

On a Monday update, Jodie shared excitedly that The Agency, created by Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth, has been greenlit for a second season on Paramount+ in conjunction with Showtime.

I take on the role of Dr. Samia ‘Sami’ Zahir, a captivating Sudanese anthropologist, in the spellbinding 10-part first season of the espionage thriller led by Michael Fassbender. You can catch it every Friday.

The show, featuring actors like Richard Gere and Jeffrey Wright, originates from the French series ‘Le Bureau’, which was broadcast on Canal+ from 2015 to 2020 over a span of five seasons.
