As a former Page 3 girl and reality TV star Jodie Marsh admits she’s used to being trolled.
Still, she wasn’t ready for the intense negativity and harsh criticism she faced after becoming the subject of discussion on the online gossip forum, Tattle Life.
This website, with 12 million monthly visitors, claims to reveal influencers who aren’t honest about how they make money on social media.
It quickly became a haven for online trolls who relentlessly attacked people – from celebrities like Mrs Hinch and Katie Price, to everyday parenting bloggers with smaller audiences.
The person behind the website, Sebastian Bond, was revealed in June 2025 after he lost a legal case brought by Neil and Donna Sands. They received £300,000 in compensation due to years of harassment and stalking they experienced as a result of the site.
Despite remaining online, the website now lists 450 people who have experienced abuse there – including Jodie – and they are collaborating with members of Parliament and law enforcement to try and have it taken down.

Jodie, age 46, has stepped away from public life and now spends her time caring for animals at her animal sanctuary, Fripp’s Farm.
Even though she prefers to be private, malicious individuals are actively trying to harm her and shut down Fripps. They’ve made false claims about Jodie to the police, tax authorities, her local government, and various animal welfare organizations.
‘Tattle has destroyed my life,’ Jodie tells Daily Mail.
People have been incredibly cruel to me, attacking everything about my life. They’ve harshly criticized my appearance, focusing on my face and body with hurtful comments.
Honestly, the things people say about me… it’s brutal. They’ve tried to tear me down, calling me every name under the sun. They say I’m awful to animals, which is a complete lie, and they’ve even accused me of being a drug addict – I’ve *never* touched drugs! And the insults… they call me fat, disgusting, like I’m some sort of monster. They say I’m a liar, that I’m just… not very bright. It’s just so unfair, but honestly, I’m obsessed with proving them all wrong.
‘And the worst thing about this is people believe them.’
I was so worried for Jodie over the summer! She had a really tough fight on her hands, appealing the council’s decision to deny her the license she needed for Fripps Farm. It was a full-blown legal battle, and I was rooting for her the whole time.
Uttlesford District Council rejected the application last year because council members felt the applicant treated the animals like pets. This concern arose after it was revealed she had brought a baby meerkat and an owl to a pub, and there were also worries about potential noise disturbances.

Yet Jodie claims: ‘Their only evidence against me was what they had taken from Tattle.
The content was completely made up, intended to harm someone’s reputation, and included altered videos and photos.
Jodie successfully appealed the council’s decision, and the judge approved her license. Uttlesford District Council was also ordered to cover her legal costs, totaling £19,641.
Judge Williams concluded that there was significant hostility between Ms. Marsh and the people in the community.
However, he also stated that while Ms. Marsh might not be well-liked locally, the evidence presented to the court shows she truly cares for her animals.
Ms. Marsh has never harmed or mistreated the animals under her care.
Although Jodie won, she acknowledges the victory came at a price, impacting the people of Uttlesford District Council due to the stress involved.
Jodie claims that in all the cost to the taxpayer amounts to roughly £120,000.

A Uttlesford District Council representative explained to the Daily Mail that the original rejection wasn’t made lightly. It followed a standard council procedure where council members carefully considered all available evidence, including information from Ms. Marsh, before making their decision.
The council is legally required to process license applications and handle appeals from those who have been denied a license.
The council must spend money when it receives applications and appeals, and it has no other option.
‘In this case the total legal costs, including the appellant costs, was less than £35,000.’
Jodie tearfully told the Daily Mail that users of the online forum Tattle have reported her to multiple authorities, including the RSPCA, PETA, the police, government departments, the charity regulator, and her local council.
Despite repeated investigations triggered by their actions, I’ve consistently passed every inspection without issue.
The result of everything that happened was a severe emotional crisis, and I’ve struggled with suicidal thoughts on multiple occasions.
It’s against the law to spread hate speech. Discriminating against someone based on their race, religion, or sexual orientation is unacceptable, so it’s frustrating to see people online – ‘trolls’ – doing exactly that to me and many others.

Jodie is worried about her safety because her home address was shared on Tattle Life. She also said her family and friends have been harassed by people using the site.
She explained that people have been posting pictures online of bombs placed over images of her house. They’ve also shared photos showing how to get to her home and the locations of her pets.
Someone has been using a system called Tattle to repeatedly fly drones over my property. This has frightened both me and the rescued animals I care for.
Drones have flown right up to my bedroom windows, and I’ve had to hire security around the clock to protect myself and my animals because of this harassment.
Living alone has become frightening since my stalkers discovered my address. I’m constantly stressed, exhausted, and now rely on antidepressants to cope with the depression it’s caused.
It’s been a really tough time, and honestly, the online negativity actually got worse when I was grieving my mom, Kristina. Losing her to cancer in 2020 was devastating, and dealing with trolls on top of that just added to the pain. It’s something I’ve had to navigate, and it really highlighted how cruel online spaces can be during vulnerable moments.
I used to call my parents ‘Marge and Parge’ as a cute nickname. Then, right after my mother passed away, someone created an account on the online forum Tattle using the username ‘Marge’s Ghost’ – and they used a picture of my mother as their profile photo. It was incredibly shocking.

On Monday, MPs and experts in areas like regulation, law, and law enforcement met at a discussion led by MP Apsana Begum to discuss increasing worries about online platforms like Tattle.Life.
It absolutely broke my heart listening to them. People shared the most awful things that happened to them on that site – truly harrowing stories of abuse. And it wasn’t just about what happened *on* the site, it was the damage it did to their lives afterwards. So many of them… so many admitted they’d tried to end it all because of the relentless trolling. It’s just… devastating.
Personal health information was posted online, and attempts were made to get people fired by contacting their employers and damaging their homes.
As a long-time advocate for online safety, I was deeply disturbed to learn about the findings from VictimFocus. They discovered that people were being stalked on the platform by a really wide range of individuals – complete strangers, people they already knew, and shockingly, even some medical professionals. What made it even worse was that these stalkers were hiding behind anonymous profiles, making it incredibly difficult for victims to identify and protect themselves.
According to Labour MP Apsana, the evidence and upsetting stories shared with Parliament this week demonstrate that this online platform should be shut down because it’s causing harm while pretending to just be sharing gossip.
We need to prevent the harmful and upsetting results of online and real-life stalking or harassment.
