Jodie Marsh publicly criticized Paul Weller after attempting to sell memorabilia online to benefit Fripps Farm.
A 47-year-old former model announced she was auctioning off Paul Weller memorabilia – including a gold disc, signed posters, and concert tickets. However, Paul Weller’s official social media account clarified that he does not support or endorse the auction.
Paul recently posted on X (formerly Twitter) to clarify that an online auction claiming to offer competition prizes and memorabilia is not official and he does not support it.
Jodie, who runs an animal sanctuary in Essex and cares for 400 rescued animals, publicly criticized the 67-year-old musician on Instagram, claiming he’s distancing himself from her because she’s friends with Nigel Farage.
She shared in a now-deleted post that Paul Weller was upset she’s friends with Nigel Farage, and as a result, he’s withdrawn from an auction.
It’s disappointing that we can’t simply respect each other’s differences and allow everyone to have their own friends and beliefs. It’s a sad situation, but I want to confirm that the auction is definitely happening.

It’s okay that he doesn’t want to express public support. However, it’s disheartening coming from someone we’ve consistently championed and wholeheartedly supported for so long.
It seems like some people prioritize how they appear to others over what truly matters in life and genuine experiences.
It’s disappointing that Paul, despite his dedication to helping Gaza, seems unwilling to publicly support a cause that affects our own community. It’s a shame he’s drawing that distinction.
Paul is dedicated to helping people in Gaza. He organizes fundraising concerts, like the ‘Gig for Gaza’ planned for 2025, to support organizations such as Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) and Gaza Forever.
Jodie stated the items were genuine and had belonged to Paul’s father, John, who previously managed the singer. She also said the auction was supported by Nicky Weller.
The television personality said Fripps Farm really needed donations to help support the animals.
Daily Mail has contacted Paul’s representatives for a comment.
Jodie decided to start Fripps Farm after her mother, Kristina, sadly passed away from cancer in September 2020. Losing her mother gave Jodie the motivation she needed to finally pursue her dream.
I’ll never forget when my mum got sick. It happened so fast. And it was during the height of Covid, which made everything so much harder. The hospitals were overwhelmed and actually sent cancer patients home, so my dad and I had to become her full-time carers, right in our own home. It was a really difficult time.

It was a truly awful experience. I quit my job and put my life on hold to look after my mother. Seeing her pass away made me understand how precious and fleeting life is.
I don’t understand why I’d take on another TV show, photoshoot, or anything like that, because those things aren’t what I truly want to be doing with my life, and they won’t bring me happiness.
My biggest dream is to open an animal sanctuary. It’s something I’ve wanted my whole life, and it’s what I believe will truly make me happy. I’ve always seen it as my ultimate goal.
It wasn’t a hard decision for Jodie to step away from the limelight.
By her own admission, ‘I hated being famous. If I had money no one would ever see me again!’
