Jodie Kidd’s wild teen years REVEALED! You won’t believe what she did!

At the onset of her modeling career, Jodie Kidd remembers socializing with Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell by enjoying champagne and cigarettes when she was only sixteen years old.

46-year-old model made a splash in the fashion world at a young age when Terry O’Neil, a famous photographer, noticed him on a beach in Barbados. He then became the face of various campaigns for brands such as Yves Saint Laurent and Chloé.

After experiencing a terrible panic attack on the runway when she was 19, Jodie decided to leave the fashion industry for good. She later moved back to her hometown in West Sussex, which is where she had grown up.

Reflecting on her past escapades strutting the runway alongside Kate (age 51) and Naomi (age 54), Jodie remarked that those times are a stark contrast to what she experiences now.

Discussing the stark contrast between her illustrious modeling career and today, she remarked on the Olivia Attwood’s So Wrong, It’s Right podcast: ‘Things have changed dramatically now.’

‘But [when I was modelling] backstage all you had was champagne and it was very glamorous.

‘And then everyone just drinking champagne and smoking cigarettes. 

Reflecting on it now, it appears quite exciting, yet it was definitely inappropriate for a 16-year-old girl to engage in such activities.

This past week, Jodie disclosed that she’s been confined to her bed for about three days due to a bout of the flu.

She took a selfie without makeup and made a sad expression before posting it on her Instagram Story.

Jodie looked worlds away from her usual glamorous self as she laid in bed with her unbrushed hair. 

She wrote: “Is anyone else dealing with the flu? I’ve been lying in bed for three days now, and it feels like I can hardly move; this strain seems particularly potent.

‘Let me know if you have any home remedy’s.’ 

In other places, Jodie has stated that men excel in specific areas compared to women, and she believes it is important to move past the notion that the genders are entirely equal.

In a conversation about motorsports on the Who We Are Now podcast, featuring Richard Hammond and his daughter Izzy, the model shared her insights on the topic of equality.

The three of them were chatting about Formula 1. At this point, Richard posed a question to Izzy, who was 23 years old: “Why do you find racing attractive as a young woman, considering that the drivers are mostly men displaying their prowess?

This led Jodie to interrupt, expressing her thoughts as follows: ‘It seems we need to move past the idea that everyone is entirely equal. Some areas, men may excel over women.’

Will I be deemed unacceptable?

Yet she then doubled down on her remarks as she continued: ‘It is just a fact of life. 

Occasionally, you’ll encounter a remarkably unconventional female with exceptional skills who may appear, and I assure you, there will be a female racer participating in Formula One racing in the near future.

Speaking as a die-hard enthusiast, I’d argue that it boils down to inclusivity. If everyone, regardless of skill level, has an equal opportunity to engage with it, then it’s fair game for those who excel.

She suggested: “It might be more appropriate to view them simply as drivers, rather than distinguishing them as male or female.

Regardless of whether it’s a male or female, what matters is that they both have equal opportunities for it. Unfortunately, I believe that isn’t the case right now.

Jodie pointed out that motor racing isn’t the only sector where men tend to dominate, remarking, “Perhaps it’s an area that men find more appealing by tradition. There could be females entering as well.

In 2003, Jodie started her racing career when a friend invited her to participate in the Gumball Rally. Not long after, she set the fastest lap record on Top Gear, which marked the beginning of her motorsports journey.
