Jodie Foster was spotted out with a male companion in New York City on Tuesday.

62-year-old actress, accompanied by her son at the SAG Awards, flashed a smile as she walked hand-in-hand with her companion.

At one point he affectionately kissed the top of her head.

In relation to this, Alexandra Hedison’s wife opted for a casual outfit consisting of worn-out straight-leg blue denims, a gray pullover, a stylish patterned coat, and a dark blue shawl.

She slung a black leather bag with a crossbody strap across her chest, and donned a pair of round, dark glasses on her face.

The man companion of Foster wore a camel-colored suede coat, beige pants, and had a light-colored, striped scarf tied around his neck.

In the movie “The Panic Room,” the lead actress accessorized her outfit with a pair of sleek black sneakers, while carrying her phone inside a vibrant red protective case.

At the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards held in Los Angeles during February, both she and her 26-year-old son Charlie – who she co-parents with ex Cydney Bernard – made a seldom joint appearance.

Apart from her eldest child, she also has a 23-year-old son named Christopher, or “Kit”, who is shared with her 71-year-old former film producer partner.

At the SAG Awards, Jodie received a nomination for Exceptional Acting by a Woman in a Television Film or Miniseries category, for her part in True Detective: Night Country.

She donned a long, purplish gown adorned with beads, paired it with a minimalist golden wristband, and styled her highlighted blond hair in a trendy bob with a side partition.

Charlie’s appearance was striking in a sleek black tuxedo, pristine white shirt, and a dapper black bowtie. His strawberry-blond hair was styled in a messy, yet stylish cut.

In January, during her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, Jodie seldom discussed her family but chose that occasion to do so.

She expressed her gratitude towards her family, particularly her sons, Kit, a dedicated scientist, and Charlie, an aspiring actor embarking on his career. She conveyed the immense pleasure derived from their tireless efforts in challenging, significant, and worthwhile endeavors.

In a similar vein, the actress who starred in movies such as Taxi Driver at a young age, expressed, ‘And so, my dear boys, I hold deep affection for you.’

Back in September 2024, Foster shared with People magazine that her eldest child has set his sights on a career in the entertainment industry.

She mentioned that they are at the stage in life where they’re commencing their professional journeys, acknowledging that they are quite apprehensive about the future.

Each time they experience a sense of joy, whether it be receiving good grades, landing a job, or securing an audition, their heart swells with 14 times the emotion because they remember the fulfilling career they’ve built on meaningful work, and they recognize that this is the key to happiness. This was expressed by her at that moment in time.

‘So I’m just thrilled for them, for the future.’

Since the year 2014, Foster, who is now married, has been with Hedison – a versatile professional in photography, direction, and acting – having dated for a year prior.

Though they usually prefer to keep their relationship under wraps, Alexandra has made appearances with Jodie at high-profile events like the 2024 Academy Awards.

Alexandra shared pictures of Jodie on various social platforms, including a birthday cake snapshot from November 2023 and images of Jodie’s travels to Iceland in the year 2022.
