Jodie Comer’s series, based on a real-life story and set in the 1990s, is now streaming in the UK. Originally shown on E4 from 2013 to 2015, My Mad Fat Diary is now available on Prime Video.
This show is based on Rae Earl’s book and tells the story of a teen dealing with issues like self-esteem, mental wellbeing, and navigating relationships.
Sharon Rooney stars as Rae in the series. Jodie Comer plays Chloe, Rae’s best friend who doesn’t know what Rae is going through. The cast also includes Claire Rushbrook as Rae’s mother, Linda, Ian Hart as Rae’s therapist, Kester Gill, and Nico Mirallegro as Finn, a character who becomes Rae’s love interest.

You can now watch all three seasons of the BAFTA-nominated series on Prime Video UK if you have a subscription. The first season has six episodes, the second has several, and the third and final season wraps up the story with just three episodes.
