The survival drama The End We Start From, featuring Jodie Comer and Benedict Cumberbatch, will premiere on BBC soon.

Throughout March, the BBC is premiering a new, promising film every Friday night on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two. This is part of a special season showcasing films supported by the BBC, coinciding with the British Film Premiere.

It’s definitely a gripping and unpredictable film, but I expected it to be more intensely moving, and it just didn’t quite get there for me, according to Empire Magazine.

According to The Guardian, the actor Comer delivers an authentic performance, portraying both vulnerability and strong determination, even a hint of ruthlessness, with natural strength and style.
