While discussing her post-apocalyptic zombie movie titled “28 Years Later,” Jodie Comer admitted that she had a youthful infatuation with a particular celeb.

During a recent live Q&A session at the Adelphi Theatre in London, hosted by Josh Smith from The Reign podcast, the actress, aged 32, was asked about which public figure she admired during her teenage years.

Expressing who she had feelings for, she disclosed it was Lee Ryan, at present 42 years old. She stated, “Oh my goodness, folks, it was Lee from Blue. I understand you might have opinions, but please remember, I hold him in high regard.

‘Blue were big. I have like pictures from the Echo Arena – surely the Echo Arena was built then. 

Oh my goodness, there’s just something about him in his signature blue tee, the iconic bunches, and that striking blue hair! I can’t help but think that our eyes will lock, and our connection will be eternal. Yep, it’s always Lee from Blue who steals my heart, every single time.

Formed in 2000, the band known as Blue quickly rose to fame and became one of the most popular pop groups during that era, with chart-topping songs such as “One Love.

At the recent London premiere of “28 Years Later,” Jodie captivated the audience with an eye-catching performance in a shimmering silver dress.

On the 18th of June, the actress elegantly donned an attention-grabbing gown and walked the red carpet at London’s Odeon Luxe Leicester Square alongside her co-star, Aaron Taylor-Johnson who was 35 years old at the time.

Fans have eagerly anticipated the arrival of 28 Years Later, the follow-up to Danny Boyle’s 2002 movie 28 Days Later, after a wait spanning two decades for another chapter in the film saga.

30 years after the Rage virus ravaged the country, the newly-released movie, available from June 19, offers a glimpse into the diverse methods humans have devised to endure in a world drastically changed.

In one specific group, it implies absolute separation from other areas, as a fresh excerpt prior to the movie’s release reveals actor Aaron discussing this innovative aspect of the 28 Days Later universe for the initial time.

In this fresh territory called The Sacred Isle, people manage everything they need within their community itself. They rarely venture out, except to hunt on the larger landmass when the sea recedes.

As a die-hard enthusiast, I find myself immersed in the thrilling world of Aaron, where he molds Jamie into a skilled scavenger. This scavenger, you see, is given the arduous task of readying his canine companion, Spike, for survival in the untamed wilderness. Once they’ve honed their skills and bonded deeply, they prepare to embark on a perilous journey across the mainland.

Jodie plays Jamie’s wife Isla, a woman who is suffering from memory loss and sickness. 

In the movie, Jodie’s role is designed to scare viewers, but she admitted that even though she’s in it, she was surprised too because she believes you can’t pretend the feelings shown on screen.

In an interview before the movie premieres this month, Jodie shared that working on a Danny Boyle production was an incredibly captivating journey for her.

The way the camera appeared to interact with the characters and the plot, and observing how it brought the narrative to vivid reality.

I was rather shocked since I had enjoyed so much time outdoors in picturesque spots, only to find myself suddenly pursued.

In such circumstances, I felt a mix of excitement, awe, and fear that was undeniably genuine. It’s an experience that leaves you on the edge of your seat, invigorating yet slightly petrifying.
