Jo Martin’s Death in Paradise-style murder mystery confirms new guest stars
As a fan with a penchant for intricate mysteries and a soft spot for British dramas, I can hardly contain my excitement as Jo Martin’s enigmatic series, “The Marlow Murder Club,” unveils its impressive lineup of guest stars for its second season! With the stellar cast led by Jo herself, Samantha Bond, and Cara Horgan, this whodunit has just upped the ante by inviting some familiar faces to join the sleuthing trio.

The show, which stars a former Doctor Who character as detective Suzie Harris after her transformation from dog walker, has recently announced that some fresh characters will be part of the investigative team in the upcoming second season
Additionally starring for Season 2 are Tom Stourton from the show “Stats Lets Flats,” Caroline Langrishe known for “Lovejoy,” and James Wilby, who played a role in “Poldark.” They will portray characters Tristram Bailey, Lady Bailey, and Sir Peter Bailey respectively. These three new characters are expected to appear in episodes 1 and 2
In simple terms, for episodes 3 and 4 of the upcoming season, we’ve welcomed actress Nina Sosanya from “Baby Reindeer” and actor Andrew Knott from “Maryland” to play characters named Grace and Dean respectively
In the main storylines, characters played by Patrick Robinson from “Shetland” and Samantha Womack from “EastEnders” will make special appearances as Phil and Caroline Wingrove
Ultimately, Hugh Quarshie from “Holby City” will appear as Professor Gifford, while Elizabeth Bennett from “Doctors” takes on the role of Ursula. Additionally, Camilla Beeput from “The Suspect” portrays Jackie, and James Gaddas from “Hollyoaks” plays Harry in episodes five and six
In Season 2, we can expect the comeback of Natalie Dew portraying DCI Tanika Malik, whose cases intersect with those of our principal characters
The synopsis for the new instalment promises “no rest” for Suzie, Judith and Becks as the idyllic town of Marlow is rocked by a new series of puzzling murders.
Instead of a murder occurring within the confines of a grand estate’s study, or a mysterious incident transpiring at the Marlow yacht club, these ladies find themselves presented with fresh mysteries to unravel
