JJJJound Teases Salomon XT-6 Collaboration
Summary
- JJJJound has just teased its second Salomon collaboration
- The duo’s XT-6 features gray, black, and red with co-branding at the tongue and heel
- Release is expected to take place soon via JJJJound, Salomon, and select retailers such as HBX
As a devoted admirer, I must say that when it comes to footwear collaborations, few can rival the sheer quantity and diversity offered by JJJJound, based in Montreal. This year alone, they’ve partnered with heavyweights like New Balance, adidas, Plasticana, Padmore & Barnes, OTW by Vans, ASICS, and PUMA. Now, they’re tantalizing us with a sneak peek at a new project in collaboration with Salomon – a partnership that promises to expand their already impressive portfolio even further!
Approximately two years have passed since JJJJound initially collaborated with Salomon on the XT-Wings 2, showcasing a white and blue design. Now, this dynamic duo has teamed up once more, hinting at a joint colorway of the XT-6. This model, which made waves for Salomon at the start of the last decade, is now ready in shades of gray, black, and red. The quicklace system remains intact and can be found on a co-branded tongue. Furthermore, JJJJound’s influence is evident in the heel, where both brand logos are displayed in red.
Currently, neither JJJJound nor Salomon have announced a release date for their joint project, the XT-6. Keep an eye out for future news, including a full reveal of this black and gray color scheme from the duo. The shoe is confirmed to be launching this year, as indicated by JJJJound’s “JJJJ SALOMON 2025” post. It’s expected that the shoe will first become available through JJJJound, with Salomon and select retailers like HBX following suit at a later time.
