Jimmie Allen found liable in sexual assault after failing to comply with court orders

This week, it was determined by a federal judge that Jimmie Allen, the Grammy-nominated artist famous for “Best Shot” and “Warrior,” stands accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Las Vegas hotel room back in 2022, and also of recording the incident.

On Monday, Judge Aleta A. Trauger issued an order in a Tennessee federal court, awarding sanctions and judgment against the 40-year-old country musician. As per court records obtained by The Times, the accuser, referred to as “Jane Doe 2” in the documents, filed her motion against the singer and his co-defendants back in May. However, they allegedly did not respond in a timely manner, according to the order.

In simpler terms, the court understands that there is no opposition to this motion. However, throughout the case, the defendants have not met the discovery deadlines set by the court for managing the case and have also neglected to adhere to specific orders issued by this court.

In response to a playful social media post from Governor Gavin Newsom’s office that implied endorsement from Kid Rock, the musician has weighed in.

The judgment indicates that Allen and his associates, which include his bodyguard and Aadyn’s Dad Touring Inc., neglected to settle a debt of $5,950 in non-refundable legal costs as mandated in March. On Wednesday, The Times sought comments from the defendants’ legal representative; however, they did not respond promptly.

Elizabeth Fegan, representing the plaintiff, expressed satisfaction on Wednesday to The Times, stating that their legal team was pleased because the court had ruled in favor of the plaintiff, as defendant Jimmie Allen declined to take part in the legal proceedings.

“We look forward to proving up Plaintiff’s damages caused by Allen’s predatory acts,” Fegan added.

In the summer of 2023, Allen found himself embroiled in several sexual assault allegations that significantly impacted his career and future prospects. In May 2023, a woman who had previously worked for him claimed that he had subjected her to sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, sex trafficking, and emotional distress. The accuser, referred to as “Jane Doe” in court documents, initially filed a complaint against Allen in May 2023. However, she withdrew the complaint after reaching an agreement with the singer in March 2024, ultimately dismissing the case permanently with prejudice in October 2024.

In July 2023, Allen retaliated to the two lawsuits against him by filing a suit in return. During this period, he refuted the claims made against him and implicated one woman for slander, while accusing the other of unlawfully seizing his phone after agreeing to be recorded with his consent.
