If you ever misheard ‘Jill Sandwich’ as ‘Jiggle Sandwich’, it’s now been made very appropriate.

Overview
- B3 Electric AR Attacker Unit that has powerful autoattacks, but slower fire rate.
- Is incredibly single-target, with no AoE and no way to deal damage to more than one target at a time other than a minor DoT on S2, making her a bossing unit primarily.
- Deals True Damage on autoattacks when buffed by burst.
- Benefits from Naga the most out of so many units, thanks to how powerful her base attack is.
Should You Pull?
Jill Valentine is a limited-time character who might not be available again, making many players want to get her now. However, while she *can* be powerful, her abilities only truly shine in certain situations. Compared to other electric damage dealers, she isn’t consistently better and often doesn’t stand out.
Okay, so I’m really digging her weapon, it’s super strong! But honestly, outside of using her Skill 1, her other skills don’t really add *that* much to her normal attacks. Her Skill 2 damage over time is just…fine. And while the buffs she gets from Burst and Skill 2 when she enters Burst mode are decent, they don’t make her attacks nearly as powerful as when other characters like Asuka, Ein, Alice, or Phantom use *their* bursts. It’s like, they get a way bigger boost to their basic attacks when they go all-out.
This character is best suited for taking on bosses rather than general gameplay. As an electric damage dealer, she struggles to stand out because Cinderella is so strong, making it very difficult for most electric characters to compete. While Jill deals similar damage to other options, the electric damage type is already very crowded with powerful characters.
Jill struggles to stand out compared to other strong electric damage dealers like Ein, sAnis, Scarlet with Trina, or xMaiden. She also doesn’t offer the same helpful support abilities as Ada Wong, making it difficult to recommend pulling for her specifically to improve performance in electric raids.
Units that deal a lot of non-elemental damage to enemies weak to Electric attacks—like Rapi: Red Hood, Scarlet: Black Shadow, Raven, Mihara: Bonding Chain, and Milk: Blooming Bunny—can be dangerous to Jill’s positioning during raids.
Jill has the potential to deal more damage than other characters when fighting bosses in the campaign, especially when facing enemies with very high defense (over 35% higher). However, most players don’t intentionally build their teams to maximize this advantage.
If you’re not aiming to gather every single unit – which can be very expensive – I suggest skipping Jill Valentine. It’s a shame to say that about a special character who might not be available again, but it’s a practical recommendation.
Newbie/Incomplete Box Section
Jill Valentine is a powerful attacker in B3 Electric AR, excelling at taking down single, high-health enemies like bosses. While she struggles against groups, she’s particularly effective in the campaign mode where her ability to deal significant, direct damage really shines.
Okay, so Jill’s got a strong weapon, but honestly, her abilities don’t really boost her basic attack damage as much as I’d like. There are other characters who really focus on basic attacks, and *their* kits make those attacks way more powerful. Jill just doesn’t quite keep up in that area, which is a little disappointing.

Normal Attack Information
Jill Valentine’s assault rifle is different from most. It sacrifices firing speed for more damage with each shot. While typical ARs fire around 12 times per second and deal 13-15% of a character’s attack power per shot, Jill’s AR fires slower at 2.75 times per second but hits harder, dealing 71.09% of attack power per shot. She also has a smaller magazine, holding only 9 bullets instead of the usual 60, and won’t have access to extra ammo, meaning she’ll need to reload frequently.

Skill 1: Magnum Ammo
Activates at the start of battle and upon reloading to Max Ammunition. Affects self.
Magnum Ammo boosts your normal attack damage by 30% for 9 rounds whenever you use your Burst Skill. It also grants a 34.99% True Damage bonus to your attacks for 10 seconds.
Jill starts battles with, and gains after each reload, a buff that affects her first nine basic attacks – matching the size of her standard ammunition capacity. This buff increases the damage of her basic attacks to 92.42% of her ATK. As a result, Jill is among the strongest characters for dealing damage with basic attacks, and excels at landing and benefiting from ‘core hits’.
Jill’s gun only fires the first nine bullets in each magazine, but she reloads quickly – just one second, even faster with her burst ability. Because of this, it’s generally best not to pair her with characters who increase her magazine size (like Noir) or automatically reload it for her (like Little Mermaid), unless you’re prepared to manually manage her reloads.
When Jill uses her special ability (burst), her basic attacks deal extra damage that ignores enemy defenses (true damage). This effect lasts for the duration of the burst, making her attacks significantly more powerful.
Skill 2: Acid Ammo
Activates at the start of battle and upon reloading to Max Ammunition. Affects self.
Okay, so I’m really excited about this! It’s called Acid Ammo, and basically, whenever I reload and get a full clip, the very first shot does normal damage, but then every shot after that for the next 30 seconds deals a ton of damage over time – like 192% of my attack power *every second*! It kicks in when I activate Full Burst, and it also gives me a nice attack boost of over 40% for 10 seconds, which is awesome. It affects me, so it’s a solid self-buff and damage dealer all in one.
Jill’s initial magazine shot applies a damage boost to enemies, making them take extra damage every second. Because this boost lasts a long time – 30 seconds – and Jill can reload quickly, the effect is almost always active on enemies, particularly during boss fights.
You could use this technique to quickly apply damage over time to many enemies during a normal game by repeatedly firing and reloading. However, it’s not ideal for Jill, as she struggles when facing multiple enemies. Unlike some characters, she lacks a built-in way to efficiently damage groups, relying instead on single-target attacks.
Activating her Full Burst gives her a moderate attack boost. This boost applies during all phases of the burst, contributing to her overall damage output and strengthening her damage-over-time effects while the burst is active.
Burst: Supercop
Affects self.
This update significantly boosts performance: reload speed is increased by 99.96% for 10 seconds, and all bullets are removed. It also features a forced reload. During the next 10 seconds, your hit rate increases by 80.78%, your attack damage goes up by 75%, and your normal attacks will deal true damage.
Jill finishes her magazine and quickly reloads. Because of a modification that boosts her reload speed by 99.96%, it only takes 8 or 17 frames to reload, depending on whether you’re playing at 30 or 60 frames per second. Importantly, this reload boost is fixed, meaning other buffs – like those from Privaty, Crown, or a Resilience Cube – won’t increase it further. Similarly, anything that normally slows down reloads won’t have an effect.
When Jill uses her special ability, she hits much more often, significantly increases her attack power, and her attacks bypass enemy defenses, dealing direct damage. This makes it easier for her to land important hits and increases the damage those hits inflict. Because her attacks now deal direct damage, they also benefit from any abilities or items that boost direct damage, including her own skill and those from characters like Ada Wong.
Campaign
Because she focuses on single targets, she struggles on the standard maps in Campaign. Although she can spread damage over time to multiple enemies, other heroes are better at clearing groups of normal enemies with abilities like area-of-effect attacks, piercing shots, or screen-clearing skills, and they don’t require as much precise control.
Jill excels in campaign battles, particularly against bosses with a core. Her ability to deal true damage – which bypasses enemy defense – combined with her burst attack, allows her to remain effective even as your units become weaker throughout the campaign, unlike other units that rely on standard attacks.
As a Jill fan, I’m really excited about how consistently strong she is against bosses! Her damage isn’t reliant on random effects, so she can reliably hit those crucial weak points. Plus, her damage-over-time effect basically sticks to bosses for the entire fight – she doesn’t reload fast enough for it to fall off! Honestly, if you’re looking for someone to take on really tough bosses, Jill is a top-tier pick and will be for a long time, in my opinion.
It’s important to realize that Jill needs a significant power disadvantage – at least 35% or more – to truly excel against other players. This is a challenging strategy, so if you’re hoping to use Jill to help with boss battles, be prepared for a tough time!
Arena
Jill generates a lot of burst damage, more than most ARs, and doesn’t build burst as quickly as some other weapons. However, she’s generally not a good choice for Arena battles.
She focuses too much on attacking single targets, and her damage output isn’t high enough to make her a better choice than other popular Arena characters. This is especially true because there aren’t consistent single targets in battles for her strong basic attack to be effective.
Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid
True Damage isn’t particularly special in situations where characters have normal stats or aren’t weakened. It performs about the same as other damage types, like Pierce, Distributed, or Sustained, when those stat effects aren’t present.
Jill often underperforms compared to other electric damage dealers. Many modern game bosses, including the one she was designed to fight, don’t have a central weak point to target. This puts Jill at a disadvantage, as her attacks are reduced in effectiveness when compared to competitors who don’t face the same limitations. While her damage-over-time ability and strong basic attacks are useful, they aren’t enough to make her stand out against other electric DPS characters who have more powerful abilities or better self-improvement skills.
Jill’s damage is comparable to other characters, but she’s less versatile and doesn’t offer much support outside of boss battles. This makes it difficult to recommend her over options like Ein, sAnis, or xMaiden. If you want to use her in raids, pairing her with a specific unit – especially one with a core build – can be very effective.
Buffs core damage for the whole team, especially with shielder units.
Jill deals significant damage with her regular attacks and greatly increases her accuracy during combat, allowing her to consistently hit enemies and benefit from Naga’s damage boost more effectively than other characters who rely on basic attacks. While a shield is helpful, many players prefer to save the powerful Crown shield for other uses, making Tia a strong partner choice for Jill.
Jill’s main strength, dealing damage to enemy cores, won’t be very effective against bosses that don’t have one, making it hard for her to really shine.
Strengths
- Strong basic attack without relying on a proc gives her ways to deal lots of damage to parts and deal high damage to core.
- Good damage vs bosses, when both DoT and basic attacks are combined.
- True damage allows her to remain relevant vs bosses in campaign when at a deficit.
- Very cute and jiggly!!
Weaknesses
- Outside of campaign deficit, Jill doesn’t stand out as a DPS compared to other units.
- Lacks utility, and is strictly single-target, reducing viability for normal campaign stages, despite her strength vs bosses in campaign.
- Loses a lot of damage when enemies lack a core to hit/parts to break.
- Her self-buff power isn’t that incredible and true damage loses its signficance in most content.
- Yet another AR unit reliant on auto attacking that barely excels at it. When will Shift Up give ARs their own Tove-like unit?

Recommended Cubes
Because of Tracer’s quick movements, fast firing rate, and the fact that she can easily avoid Bastion, using the Resilience Cube to boost her reload speed is a good strategy. Although it doesn’t affect her reload *during* a burst of fire, it helps her reload much faster between bursts, keeping her ready to attack.
Destruction Cube is a good choice when fighting bosses with individual parts. Her strong regular attacks, which don’t depend on special effects, are especially effective at damaging those parts – making her a solid pick against bosses like Mirror Container.
Doll Priority
Although Jill’s SR15 Doll provides a helpful damage boost when targeting enemy cores, and benefits from the damage bonuses given by SR AR Dolls, her overall effectiveness is limited. Electric damage dealers are already common, and Jill doesn’t perform well in situations outside of boss battles, often underperforming compared to other options. Therefore, I’d rank her doll as a low priority.
