Before he met Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, John F. Kennedy Jr. dated quite a few women. Honestly, it was a string of relationships, and while not all of them were household names, they were all incredibly beautiful women. It’s easy to forget that before finding ‘the one,’ people often date around, even those in the public eye!

With the popular FX series ‘Love Story’ ending by showing the deaths of John and Carolyn Kennedy in 1999, the Daily Mail has published previously unseen photos from John F. Kennedy Jr.’s life before he met Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy.

I first crossed paths with John F. Kennedy Jr. back when I was a student at Columbia Journalism School in the late 80s. It was a time that really shaped my perspective, and getting to know him even briefly was a memorable experience.

Paparazzi often photographed the pair together during the summer of 1991. Their romantic relationship didn’t last long, but they remained good friends for years afterward.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and actress Daryl Hannah were in a relationship from 1988 to 1994. They had known each other for years, as their families had often vacationed together in the Leeward Islands when they were both in their twenties.

I remember when they first got back together – it was at Lee Radziwill’s wedding, JFK Jr.’s aunt. They were together for nearly six years, and honestly, I thought they’d end up married! Sally Munro entered Kennedy’s orbit while both were students at Brown University.

Munro and JFK Jr. dated between 1979 and 1985. She was known as one of the few people at school who wasn’t intimidated by his fame.

I was so glad to see that even after they went their separate ways after college, they stayed friendly. It’s rare to find people who can break up and still be genuinely nice to each other, and they really managed it. It was a mature and respectful way to handle things, and I always admired that about them.

Christina Haag, an actress originally from Manhattan, was in a relationship with a member of the Kennedy family from 1985 to 1990. The two had known each other since childhood and were classmates at Brown University.
