Jesy Nelson Welcomes Twins Ocean Jade and Story Monroe After Emergency Surgery

Jesy Nelson has confirmed the birth of her twins in an emotional Instagram post. 

Previously, a member of the group Little Mix was admitted to the hospital starting from late March, following her diagnosis with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) – an uncommon complication that may endanger one or both developing infants.

She later assured everyone that both newborns were healthy and thriving, following her update on social media immediately after their delivery on a Sunday morning.

Indeed, our cherished daughters chose to arrive at 31 weeks and 5 days. The events unfolded rapidly, but we are profoundly grateful they are with us now, thriving and displaying incredible resilience! Never have we felt more deeply in love.

In March, a sudden medical intervention became necessary because of complications arising from her pregnancy, and she’s been told by doctors to stay at the hospital for a specific duration, since they’re worried she might deliver prematurely.

The artist from The Boyz band is currently seven months into her pregnancy, and doctors recommend she carry the babies for at least 32 weeks more before they are delivered.

Even though Zion mentioned that staying at the hospital was making them feel restless, Jesy is still maintaining her routine beauty regimen.

On Thursday, the singer posted on her Instagram Story that she recently got her eyelashes styled in her own room.

I radiantly shared a captivating selfie and brief video snippet from my cozy haven, highlighting the alluring enhancements to my eyelashes, which have recently undergone an enchanting transformation.

Yesterday, the skilled @lashesbyhols applied my eyelashes, and I must confess, I’ve developed a strong affection for them.

She applied new, brown eyelashes on me for the first time, slightly altered my eye shape, and I adore them so much that I doubt I’ll return to using black lashes again.

After Zion mentioned it, they’ve been feeling a touch homesick, having spent several weeks enclosed within the same four walls with him and Jesy.

He told OK! Magazine: ‘The same four walls are driving us a bit crazy.’

During the trying period, Zion confessed that he and Jesy had grown to comprehend one another on a more profound scale.

He stated, “At moments like these, the depth of our love and the significance of our relationship becomes strikingly apparent. For me and Jess, this experience has further solidified the fact that we were destined for one another, taking our bond to an entirely new level.

While Jesy remains under hospital care, the pair has made efforts to create a comfortable, homelike environment for him.

Zion mentioned: ‘We positioned a convertible couch near the hospital bed, creating our own spacious double bed. It feels almost like moving in. Even the nurses expressed, “Wow, this place looks amazing and cozy!”‘

Recently, Jesy posted an emotional Instagram message from her hospital bed, celebrating her boyfriend Zion Foster for finishing the London Marathon on Sunday.

From her private room while watching the marathon on TV, the singer posted a picture of an excited Zion as he completed the race in less than a month after intense 26.2 miles training.

In a heartfelt manner, Jesy expressed that she found it difficult to put into words just how proud she felt of Zion Foster. However, by what he has done, he has made her and their children feel incredibly proud beyond measure! (@zionfoster)

In just under four weeks, you’ve put in tremendous effort to prepare for the London marathon, crossing the finish line today while fundraising for a remarkable cause, TwinStrust, and for our little ones. There simply aren’t enough words to express my pride in what you’ve accomplished.

Instead of saying: “Before adding”, you could say: “Previously, consider using”:

“Wow, you did it! You’re the most amazing human and daddy, and we adore you. You smashed the London Marathon!!!

While an exhausted Zion replied: ‘Can’t believe I actually completed it… LOVE YOU’

Before the race, Jesy declared that he was running with a purpose, specifically “for our little ones,” and to raise money for the Twins Trust charity. This charity offers support to parents of multiples while also working on enhancing maternity care and conducting relevant research.

From her hospital bed, Jesy shared a photo while watching the BBC’s Marathon broadcast, expressing that she was touched by the event.

This morning, I’m overwhelmed with emotion, knowing that my baby is participating in the marathon not just for themself, but also for all our little ones and on behalf of @twinstrust. My heart swells with pride, Zion Foster – you are truly an inspiration. Keep going, my angel, you can do it!

On a Friday, Zion and Jesy posted a video where Zion was displaying his Marathon t-shirt with great pride and asking supporters for an extra effort in making donations.

Jesy appeared emotional as she told her partner that she had no hesitation he would finish the 26-mile course. She also reminded him that he was doing this for those tiny babies and families who are enduring it, as well as everyone who has experienced what they’ve been through and even more difficult situations.

Jesy and her partner Zion revealed to fans in a video that she’d been diagnosed with TTTS in March.
