Jesy Nelson snubbed by former Little Mix bandmates following engagement to fiancé Zion Foster after revealing she and the girls ‘don’t speak’

Jesy Nelson revealed her engagement on Friday, and some fans have noticed she received less attention than her former Little Mix bandmates when they announced their own happy news.

I was so thrilled to see the news! The singer, who left her girl group back in ’34, just announced her engagement on social media. Her partner, Zion Foster, proposed – it sounds like a really sweet and romantic moment, and I’m sending them both my best wishes!

While Jesy Nelson received a lot of public support and congratulations from fans and celebrity friends, her former Little Mix bandmates didn’t publicly comment or offer their well-wishes.

Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock didn’t respond to the post from the mother of two.

Jesy Nelson has said she’s currently not in contact with her former Little Mix bandmates, following her departure from the group in 2020.

In a previous interview, she confessed she was ‘miserable’ in the group.

She added: ‘We haven’t talked since [I left the band].

While I used to say never, I truly wish them all the best as they each pursue their own paths – it’s a really exciting time for them.

Jesy had shared a heartwarming snap showing off her new ring after Zion, 26, popped the question.

He proposed to Jesy on a romantic beach trip at sunset, and she shared a picture of the beautiful diamond ring.

Alongside the post, she wrote: ‘Just got engaged to my best friend’.

Jesy and Zion began dating in January 2022 and have endured many breakups and reunions since.

Her happy engagement news came on the same day as Perrie Edwards’ debut album.

The new album is appropriately titled after her, and comes after the release of her recent song, “If He Wanted To He Would.”

She’s the second member of Little Mix to release a solo album, after Jade Thirlwall’s album came out earlier this month.

Jesy and Zion became parents in May when they welcomed twins Ocean Jade and Story Monroe.

Ocean Jade and Story Monroe arrived early, at 31 weeks, after their mother, Jesy, was diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS). This uncommon condition can be dangerous for one or both babies in a twin pregnancy.

Before going home, the twins had been cared for in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Jesy recently shared that nothing can truly prepare a parent for the experience of having a baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), after her children were born prematurely.

It’s a terrifying and overwhelming feeling, the sense of being unable to protect your children.

It’s completely natural to want to hold and soothe your baby when they’re upset, but it’s heartbreaking when they’re in the NICU. All the wires, tubes, and medical equipment get in the way, and watching doctors and nurses examine them while you can’t fully comfort them is incredibly painful.

Seeing them together again for the first time today was an incredibly special and unforgettable experience.

‘The strongest little girls I’ve ever known who really do have the most inspiring story to tell.’

Jesy unexpectedly needed a medical procedure in March due to complications, and doctors recommended she stay in the hospital until she was at least 32 weeks pregnant.

During the difficult time, Jesy’s partner, Zion, shared that he and Jesy-who was seven months pregnant when she had the procedure-had become closer and understood each other better.
