Jesy Nelson shows off her blossoming baby bump and thanks fans for their ‘beautiful messages’ after revealing she’s pregnant with twins

On Monday, Jesy Nelson proudly displayed her growing twin babies in her womb and expressed gratitude towards fans for their heartwarming words of encouragement, following her announcement last week about her pregnancy with twins.

Previously a member of Little Mix, now aged 33, shared on Instagram last Sunday that she is pregnant with her on-again, off-again partner, Zion Foster.

In her caption, she revealed that she’s having twins because she admitted to ‘eating for two plus one’, and added two tiny infant icons.

Since then, she’s received an outpouring of supportive messages from both friends and admirers, including her former Love Island partner Chris Hughes.

On Monday, Jesy showcased a fresh video on her stories, displaying affectionate touches on her expanding belly and sending a loving gesture with a kiss towards the camera as she soaked up the warmth.

The star radiated brightly, choosing a simple makeup look to highlight her authentic charm, all while feeling at ease in some Powerpuff Girls pajama pants and an Outkast t-shirt.

She sported her fiery red hair in its natural, curly form, and appeared exceptionally lively as she engaged with her 9.7 million followers.

Accompanying the touching video, Jesy posted a message saying, “I simply wanted to express my gratitude for all the wonderful messages you’ve sent me during the last 24 hours. We’re absolutely flooded by the amount of love and support.

Back in the day, I couldn’t help but keep tabs on my beloved Jesy. Well, you guessed it! She recently shared a sweet snapshot of her and her former partner, Zion, 26 – a whopping 26 months post our world hearing whispers of their separation back in September.

In January 2022, a connection between the two musicians (singer and rapper) was rumored. However, they parted ways in November 2023 due to difficulties arising from their seven-year age difference, which Jesy found challenging.

In the recent past, the pair got back together only to separate about five months ago; yet, they’ve given signs of potentially coming together once more by posting a warm photo, which announced their upcoming parenthood.

I fueled curiosity when I seemed to have parted ways with someone come September, as I appeared to erase any signs of them across my social media platforms.

And they previously called it quits last summer after Jesy struggled with their nine year age gap.

I’m thrilled to share that the duo has reunited again, and I’ve been fortunate enough to witness their recent joint projects. One of these collaborations was officially showcased in August, while we eagerly await the release of the others.

After news broke about their breakup, Zion verified that they had parted ways when he posted a comment on an OK! TikTok: “She’s a stunningly beautiful woman both inside and out; I wish her only the best.

“Fans expressed their disappointment upon hearing the news, writing comments such as ‘What a pity, they seemed like a charming duo’ and ‘I was really looking forward to their music.’

According to a source, it was shared by The Sun that Jesy and Zion parted ways about a month ago and have since severed all connections. Previously, they had split, but their friends believe that this time the separation might be permanent.

It’s a bit tricky since they’ve already produced an Extended Play (EP) of their collaborative music, but Jesy isn’t keen on it being released at the moment.

As a devoted fan, I must admit that we’ve already had a taste of their music, and there has been an anticipation for more. Regrettably, the likelihood of getting more seems to be dwindling as we speak.

Despite numerous well wishes from other celebrity friends following Jesy’s announcement, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwalk, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have remained conspicuously quiet in their response.

In December 2020, Jesy parted ways with Little Mix, and she hasn’t publicly extended her congratulations to Leigh-Anne and Perrie, who both announced their pregnancies only a few days apart in the year 2021.

Presently, Perrie has the joyful role of motherhood for her son Axel, whom she co-parents with her fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Similarly, Leigh-Anne is a mother to twin daughters that she and her husband Andre Gray share together.

In August 2021, Jesy revealed that she was no longer in contact with Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade.

When interviewed by The Guardian, she responded to questions about their communication by saying, “We haven’t been in touch as frequently. Currently, not so much. Everyone needs space right now; it’s a significant event that has occurred. Despite this, I hold them dear in my heart. They were more like sisters to me.

After the singer, Jesy, repeatedly criticized them, Perrie, Leigh-Anne, and Jade chose to stop following her, as they had decided to carry on as a group after her departure.

Following Perrie’s discussion about their former friendship on a podcast, Jesy posted a vague message on her Instagram Stories.

The creator of “The Boyz” hit song posted a message that read, ‘The internet can be really unpleasant, and unfortunately, so can people,’ on a dark backdrop.

On an episode of Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast, Perrie opened up about how the breakdown of their friendship with Jesy served as the inspiration for a fresh composition in her music.

She mentioned: “I composed a tune, reflecting on a past friendship that is now gone. It seems we struggle when it comes to discussing the end of friendships.

It’s still incredibly painful – when you experience life’s ups and downs together, share joyous moments and tough times, only to find that person is no longer there.

‘But these things happen. Do we try and rectify things? Or just stay away?’
