Jesy Nelson shares sweet insight into her life as a new mum as she posts snaps with newborn twins after finally coming home from hospital

Jesy Nelson recently offered a heartfelt glimpse into her life as a first-time mother by sharing charming photos of her twin babies, which she uploaded last Friday.

34-year-old ex-member of the group Little Mix, now known as Jesy Nelson, along with 26-year-old rapper Zion Foster, recently welcomed their twin babies, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, in May following several difficult months due to complications.

In one snap, Jesy can be seen cuddling one of her babies as they slept on her chest. 

In addition, it seemed that Zion took pleasure in fatherhood, as he was caught engaging the children in a lively, amusing dance.

In another image, a single hand cradled one of the newly born infants, swathed in a white onesie.

next to the photos, Jesy wrote: “I’ve never felt more fortunate and thankful in all of my existence.

Her updates arrive a few days following the disclosure that she has now returned home with her newly born twins, having spent three months at the hospital.

Jesy took to social media to share the major update with her fans.

She simply wrote: ‘My babies made it home for my birthday.’

Fans were left delighted by the milestone, and flooded Jesy with compliments and well wishes.

Ocean Jade and Story Monroe entered the world prematurely at 31 weeks due to Jesy’s twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) diagnosis – a relatively uncommon condition that may endanger one or both infants.

Prior to leaving the hospital, the twins were undergoing care in a Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU).

Recently, Jesy shared insights on their experience with preterm births, expressing to fans: “There’s nothing and no one who can truly prepare you as a parent for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)”.

Experiencing an intensely distressing, uncontrollable sensation where it seems impossible to safeguard your little ones from harm.

As an ardent parent, I yearn to embrace and soothe my little one when they weep, but the scene is a maze of countless wires, tubes, and medical equipment that obstructs any immediate contact. The sight of these intrusions and the relentless pokes and prods from healthcare providers leaves me shattered into a thousand fragments.

“Seeing them together for the first time today was like experiencing a truly enchanting moment that words can’t fully capture. These tiny powerhouses have an incredible tale to share, one that will undoubtedly inspire.

In March, Jesy found herself requiring an urgent medical intervention due to complications that arose, and doctors recommended she stay in the hospital until she reached no less than the 32nd week of her pregnancy.

During this challenging period, her partner Zion confessed that they, including Jesy who was seven months pregnant during the operation, had come to comprehend one another more deeply.

He shared with them: “It is during such moments that you truly understand the depth of your affection and the significance of your bond.

As for myself and Jess, this experience has catapulted us into a realm where it feels undeniably clear that we’re destined for one another.

He said the couple had also tried to make the hospital as much of a home as possible.

We placed a convertible couch beside the hospital bed, creating a makeshift double bed for us.

As if I’d personally decorated this place, they exclaimed, “Wow, God! It feels so cozy and inviting!

In January, it was announced that Jesy was anticipating the arrival of twins with her partner Zion, putting to rest speculation about their relationship.

Born and brought up in South London with roots in Nigeria, Zion spent his childhood in a household headed by his mother, immersed in the sounds of Gospel music.

Later on, it was through his football coach that he started getting exposed to rap music, particularly artists like Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Usher, since that’s what he began to listen to.

Later on, Zion chose to delve into the world of music, setting up his own recordings and posting them online using SoundCloud as a platform.
