Jesy Nelson is engaged! Former Little Mix star shows off sparkling diamond ring after romantic sunset proposal from boyfriend Zion Foster

Jesy Nelson has revealed she has got engaged to her boyfriend Zion Foster.

Former Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards revealed her engagement ring on Instagram Thursday, sharing a sweet photo after her partner, Zion, proposed.

Zion proposed to Jesy on a romantic beach trip at sunset, and Jesy shared a picture of her sparkling diamond ring.

Alongside the post, she wrote: ‘Just got engaged to my best friend’. 

Jesy and Zion began dating in January 2022 and have endured many breakups and reunions since.

The couple became parents in May when they welcomed twins Ocean Jade and Story Monroe. 

Ocean Jade and Story Monroe arrived early, at 31 weeks, after their mother, Jesy, was diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS). This uncommon condition can be dangerous for one or both babies in a twin pregnancy.

Before going home, the twins had been cared for in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Jesy recently shared that nothing can truly prepare a parent for the experience of having a baby in the NICU, after their own children were born prematurely.

As a parent, there’s nothing more terrifying than feeling helpless, like you can’t shield your children from harm. It’s an incredibly overwhelming wave of emotion, a deep fear that completely takes over.

It’s completely natural to want to comfort your crying baby, but when they’re in the hospital, it’s heartbreaking. Wires, tubes, and medical equipment get in the way, and you can’t even hold them properly as doctors and nurses examine them. It feels like your heart is breaking.

Seeing them together again for the first time today was an incredibly special and moving experience – something I can’t quite put into words. They are two amazing and resilient young women with a truly inspiring story.

In March, Jesy unexpectedly needed a medical procedure due to complications and doctors recommended she stay in the hospital until she was at least 32 weeks pregnant.

During the difficult time, Jesy’s partner, Zion, shared that he and Jesy – who was seven months pregnant when she had the procedure – had become closer and developed a stronger understanding of each other.

He shared with OK! magazine that moments like these truly reveal the depth of your love and the strength of your relationship.

This experience has really confirmed for Jess and me that we’re perfectly suited for each other.

He said the couple had also tried to make the hospital as much of a home as possible.

We created a larger bed by placing a sofa bed next to the hospital bed.

It really feels like home now. The nurses were amazed, saying it looks so much nicer and cozier in here.

Okay, so there’s been a lot of buzz around Jesy Nelson! It was a surprise to many when she revealed back in January that she’s expecting twins with her boyfriend, Zion. This came after some rumors were circulating that they’d actually broken up, so it’s lovely to see they’re expanding their family!

Zion, who comes from South London, was raised in a Nigerian family by his mother and spent his childhood listening to Gospel music.

His football coach then played a role in his musical development, introducing him to artists like Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Usher, which sparked his interest in rap.

Zion then decided to pursue music, recording his own tunes and sharing them online via SoundCloud.

Before dating Zion, Jesy Nelson had been in relationships with other people. In 2021, she briefly dated Lucien Laviscount, known for his role in ‘Emily in Paris,’ after they were spotted kissing in London.

She previously dated actor Sean Sagar from the show *Our Girl*, but their relationship ended after nine months.

She famously dated Chris Hughes from Love Island for nearly eighteen months, but they split up in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
