As a dedicated follower of Jesy Nelson’s journey, I can’t help but admire her strength and resilience. Having been through the rollercoaster ride that is fame, she has faced adversities that many could only imagine. From mental health struggles to bullying, she has shown an unwavering spirit that deserves recognition.

As a die-hard enthusiast, I simply can’t hide my excitement over the recent insights shared by Jesy Nelson regarding Jade Thirlwall’s fresh debut single, “Angel of My Dreams.” It’s been a heartrending two years since our beloved Little Mix bandmates and I lost touch, yet here we are, still passionate about their individual journeys.

The 33-year-old vocalist, known for her success as a part of the girl band Little Mix, tends to avoid commenting on the solo ventures of her ex-bandmates.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I frequently follow the trends and releases within the music industry. Recently, a fan reached out to me on social media, inquiring about my thoughts on Jade’s latest single. Intrigued, I eagerly shared my honest perspective with them, expressing my admiration for the song.

The fan asked Jesy: ‘Jesy, have you heard Angel Of My Dreams? Do you like the song?’

To which she positively responded with: ‘I have it’s a vibe!!!’

Fans appreciated Jesy’s upbeat remark, with one fan expressing: ‘That’s a great reply’; ‘It seems she’s not as sour-grappled as people believe’; or ‘I assumed they weren’t on good terms.’

Following Jesy’s departure from the group in December 2020 due to mental health concerns, she has shared that she hasn’t had any communication with the rest of the band members since then.

At the moment she left, Jesy confessed that the continual stress of being in a girl group and meeting expectations was extremely challenging for her. Now, the pop star has admitted that she wasn’t really ready for the job because she had only been a bartender before joining the group.

She shared with The Sun that, while in the band, she lacked the opportunity to obtain assistance and support for her mental health concerns, which ultimately led to her decision to leave the group.

Jesy openly admitted, “I hold no remorse because I felt compelled to act according to my own needs, and the experiences I had with Little Mix are ones I’ll forever treasure.”

Indeed, we haven’t exchanged words since that time. However, it’s important to note that “never” is not a promise, but rather I genuinely hope they flourish in their individual ventures, which, honestly, seems quite thrilling.

I’m cheering everyone on wholeheartedly. In truth, I genuinely hope they all achieve great success, as they’re all incredibly gifted individuals.

At the peak of her bullying, immediately after their X Factor victory, she attempted suicide through an overdose; however, her life was miraculously spared by her boyfriend at that moment.

After her hospitalization, Janice White, Jesy’s mother, was deeply upset and insisted that she step down from the group, despite the fact that Jesy had a music video to film only a week later following her treatment after the suicide attempt.

Regarding her choice to leave the group, she shared with The Sun, “During my time with Little Mix, I faced persistent mental health challenges. I battled with body image concerns, was frequently targeted by online bullying, and found it incredibly difficult.”

Following Jesy’s exit in 2020, the three remaining members carried on as a group until they parted ways individually towards the end of the previous year.

2021 saw Jesy unveil her debut solo single titled Boyz, simultaneously disclosing that she had cut ties with her former bandmates.

On The Graham Norton Show, she expressed that their communication has ceased. Unfortunately, there’s no bitterness from her end. She continues to cherish them deeply and truly hopes for their success in the future.

I truly cherished our time spent together, creating unforgettable moments, but it seems this situation requires patience and understanding, so only time will tell what happens next.

‘To me, they are still the sickest girl band in the world.’

During a significant controversy, Jesy found herself under scrutiny when Leigh-Anne made accusations of “blackfishing” against her – allegations that surfaced in private conversations with influencer NoHun which were later leaked in the music video for Boyz.

As an over-the-top enthusiast, I can’t help but share my thoughts about the time when my idol, Jesy’s Boyz collaborator Nicki Minaj, called out her past bandmates as “jealous clowns” during a heated Instagram Live session. It was quite the spectacle!
