Jessie J Calls Motherhood Her Best Achievement as She Makes Triumphant Career Comeback
Jessie J has revealed that she is ‘living her best life’ as a mother.
On a recent episode of The Project, the popular British singer expressed gratitude for being able to resume her career while juggling parenthood, describing it as a twofold source of happiness.
‘Oh, being a mum, honestly’ she replied when asked what ‘living her best life’ means to her now.
She expressed, while talking about her son Sky, shared with partner Chanan Safir Colman, “The charm of my dear little Sky fills me up! I adore him immensely.
The 37-year-old welcomed her son with her basketballer boyfriend in May 2023.
She expressed her delight, savoring every moment as she lives life to the fullest. She is deeply appreciative to be back and sharing her music with us.
‘Being a mum as well and having a career and a child and having both, I’m loving it.’
The pop star added that her son enjoys hearing her sing and shares her appreciation of music.
‘Every time he hears me singing, he looks at everyone in the room and goes, “mummy’s singing.”
‘He finishes the songs I sang to him when he was a baby. He sings it to me.’
It comes after Jessie admitted she ‘isn’t too fussed’ about getting married.
She’s been in a relationship with Chanan, aged 41, for four years now, but she emphasizes that there’s no immediate need or sense of obligation to get married any time soon.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I can share that the renowned artist, who is known for his hit song “Price Tag,” has hinted at the fact that he and his partner are in no rush to tie the knot. While I do anticipate that they will eventually exchange vows, it’s not an immediate priority for them at this moment.
We frequently discuss this topic and often find ourselves laughing over it, I’m confident that we’ll continue to do so in the future. However, we have no immediate plans or pressure to move things along,” the mother of one said to People Magazine, referring to her and Chanan’s shared son, Sky.

She added: ‘I’ve made it clear that I don’t place much importance on marriage, and sometimes this can make others a bit peculiar. However, it’s simply my personal choice.’
Jessie views marriage as rather formal or binding, but she’s eager for them to express their affection towards each other sincerely.
The pop star would prefer to do a ceremony of love and just have friends and family in attendance.
‘But I’m not in any rush,’ she added. ‘I know he loves me. He knows I love him. We’re good.’
Jessie says that having a son together ‘is the most locked in that we can feel with each other.’
She expressed: “He surpassed my expectations as a father more than I could ever have imagined. I’m incredibly thankful because he is always there, and he’s remarkably flexible considering my career demands.
On Friday, Jesse excited fans immensely by releasing a fresh new song and revealing the captivating official art for the track.
After the unveiling of her introspective and revealing track “No Secrets” recently, the artist is back with “Living My Best Life,” a lively and upbeat tune brimming with optimism.
