Pop star Jessie J will be reading a story on CBeebies Bedtime Stories this Friday. She’ll be performing ‘My Path’, a book written and illustrated by Jana Curl.
The 37-year-old singer will read a heartwarming story about overcoming challenges and staying hopeful. It’s about a small snail learning to deal with life’s ups and downs.
This book inspires kids to face difficulties and persevere, even when the future feels unclear.
Oh my gosh, Jessie just gets it, you know? She was talking about how everyone’s journey is totally unique, and how life can pull you in so many different directions. It’s like, every single day is a new adventure, and it’s just…beautiful. She really understands what it’s like to just be a person, living your life, and it’s so inspiring!
I’m so happy to be reading a CBeebies Bedtime Story! Just like the little snail in this tale, life has its ups and downs, and sometimes things feel really challenging. When that happens, I remind myself to keep trying – I say, ‘Keep going, Jess!’ – and I hope everyone, both children and adults, feels inspired by ‘My Path’ to do the same.
As someone who’s spent years helping people find joy in everyday life, I absolutely loved the message this singer shared on CBeebies Bedtime Story! She reminded everyone that there’s no single ‘right’ way to live – your path is unique and wonderful, so embrace it and keep moving forward. It’s a beautiful reminder that life is an adventure, and we should all choose happiness, believe in a little magic, and truly live our best lives. It’s simple, but so powerful.

Tune in to CBeebies on Friday, November 28th at 6:50pm to watch Jessie read a Bedtime Story! It will also be available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
CBeebies Bedtime Story has featured many famous Hollywood actors relaxing and reading a story to children.
Ke Huy Quan, an Academy Award winner, will be reading Frances Stickley’s book, Brian the Lion, on Saturday, November 29th.
The show has included celebrities like Jon Bon Jovi reading ‘Hey Grandude!’ by Paul McCartney, and Gary Oldman performing a story written specifically for the episode by Claire Taylor, accompanied by illustrations from Tim Budgen.
This news follows Jessie’s recent public statement and a new song where she openly criticized her ex-boyfriend, Channing Tatum.
In a new song, the singer harshly criticized the Hollywood actor, calling them a ‘beast’ and predicting that they would eventually face consequences for their actions.
Once the song’s lyrics came out, Jessie appeared to suggest she still has feelings for her former partner with a recent post on Instagram.
She shared a thoughtful quote: ‘It’s better to acknowledge a mistake and change direction than to spend your life unhappy with where you are.’

Jessie has been dating basketball player Chanan Colman for four years, and they have a two-year-old son named Skye.
Jessie J, known for her song ‘Price Tag,’ will release her new album, ‘Don’t Tease Me With A Good Time,’ this Friday. This comes after she resumed her music career while bravely battling cancer.
Jessie had a mastectomy in June to treat her breast cancer, but she later shared that she would need another surgery.
Sources say her new songs are about her past relationship with Channing Tatum, the actor from Magic Mike, whom she dated between 2018 and 2020.
In the song “Threw It Away,” Jessie J seemingly called her ex-boyfriend a ‘beast,’ according to The Sun.
She sings about being vulnerable and sharing her love, only to have it rejected. She acknowledges the pain of that experience, but believes that eventually, the person who hurt her will face consequences for their actions.
Jessie later added: ‘Don’t you dare rewrite the story. I’m the beauty, you’re the beast.’
People say she was very open about the inspiration behind the song, but she didn’t specifically mention Channing Tatum by name.
Jessie reportedly told the audience that she co-wrote the next song with Ryan Tedder in 2020, hinting that the lyrics reveal who she was seeing at the time.
